I recently received this "Ceramic Dinnerware 12 Pieces Dinner Set,Plates Pasta Bowls Cereal Bowls Reactive Change Glaze Dish Sets green" and they're a fantastic replacement/supplement for the "fiestaware" my mom has been using forever while still keeping a fun, colorful vibe. This set of dinner plates isn't exactly my first choice, style wise, but my mom fell in love with them and asked me to order, so I did. The plates are so decorative and vibrant - much more my mom's style than my own, but hey. One of the reasons she likes these dishes so much is that she's been using "fiestaware" for several years, but a number of the pieces in that set are now cracked or have found their way to other homes, and she was hoping to find a new set with similar enough colors to continue using the old pieces alongside the new. My mom has already gone through the fiestaware and picked out the best color matches/complements and the combination is great. She has a small selection of solid plates in reds, blues, and yellows that work beautifully with the colors in this set. The plates are ceramic and have the appearance of artisanal pottery you might find in a quaint and artsy community somewhere. To me the set has the kind of look that suggests there's a story behind them. Also, the craftsmanship seems very good, though I'm admittedly not an expert on the manufacturing process for dinnerware. In case you're wondering, none of the pieces are sized unusually, and each piece seems "typical" in size to me, but if you're looking for "giant dinner plates" or "soup bowls I could bathe a newborn in," these may not accommodate. Both microwave- and dishwasher-safe, this set would be a fantastic housewarming gift for a new homeowner, but there's no reason to not gift them to yourself if they're you're style! My mom really seems to love this set, and for the current asking price of $79.99, I feel they are a reasonable value. I have no reservations recommending this dinnerware set to others. Happy to recommend!

I am obsessed with these plates. The design is so amazing and intricate, and they're incredibly high quality plates as well. They are thick, and hefty, but feel very fancy and expensive. The design is just so beautiful, and it is different colors on each plate in the set so it's double not-boring. You get the large dinner plates, smaller salad plates, and pasta bowls. They are all top quality, not a flaw on them, and the printing is exceptionally well done considering how intricate the design is. They're safe in the microwave and dishwasher so you can clean them with ease. If you love the design and want some hefty, high quality plates, these are just right.

These dishes are really beautiful. Nice and thick with a good amount of weight to them. Have been used in microwave with ease, and of course they do get hot as well, so we have a silicone pad or towel to assist with taking them out and carrying. I would advise that, especially if a child/young/elderly person is using them straight from the microwave. The detail of each plate and bowl really is delightful. We all have our favorites. This is a beautiful set. Was skeptical at first, looked nice in the ad. Upon receiving, quite impressed. 4 different colors on design, each a full set of 2 plates and a low set bowl. These made for a nice preset table decoration. The box came well packed, each piece nicely separated from each other to prevent knocking during shipment. Unpacking, nothing was broken, cracked, or otherwise chipped. Quite surprised, as this is a heavy set. Very happy with this set, quality set, heavy, sturdy design. We haven't used for full eating yet, still sits as decoration, but have used the bowls and plates for fast food orders, so have had to hand wash a few times, and they hold up well. it is a small set, but worth the price listed.

These are beautiful. I have them on our credenza for decoration and have not eaten with them yet. They have decent weight to them and would be fine for eating out of. The design is meticulous and beautifully done.
