I used these ceramic brake pads on a 2009 Mazda CX-7. They were a perfect match and came with the stainless steel hardware mounting clips needed for full replacement, all the pads have backing plates to prevent squeaking brake noise. The pad material appeared to be more dense than the original pads and they all came tightly wrapped in cellophane with a foam protective packing around the inside edges of the box to prevent shipping damage. They fit perfectly and installed easily, and they are quiet and stop the car well. I will update if I notice unusual brake dusting on the wheels, but so far I'm happy with these brake pads. ... show more

At first everything worked fine, but right away noticed that these pads created a lot of brake dust. The stopping power was fine, but was amazed at how much brake dust these pads created. I was constantly having to clean my wheels. After about four weeks I started hearing this clicking sound when I applied the brakes. I took the wheels off to inspect the brakes a couple times, and couldn’t figure out where the clicking was coming from. Over the next four weeks, the clicking kept getting worse. Finally, I hit up my mechanic to get his impression. He suggested it might be ill fitting brake pads. So, fed up with the noise. I broke down and bought premium pads at my local auto parts. Sure enough that fixed the problem. Before installing the premium pads, I compared them to these pads I purchased on Amazon. Noticed right away that the clips on the caliper, piston side, alignment were very different compared to the premium pads. That may be why they started clicking. Bottom line, I wouldn’t buy these.
