The cover is not as soft as I thought it would be and it’s not as light as expected overall it’s not much better then the cheaper ones at Walmart. I do like the color and it wasn’t much more expensive than the ones I was looking at at Walmart and the base is adjustable so that’s nice but it just didn’t live up to the reviews so I wanted to post an honest review from someone who’s had plenty of experience with car seats I have had four children and 4 grandchildren so I know car seats this one is just okay. ... show more

I loved the car seat but there were two things that made me return it. I personally did not like that the canopy was stuck to the handle. It's much easier for me to hook my arm on the handle and carry my 22 lb child because I have a umbilical hernia. So grabbing the handle and trying to lift that in the air with only my hand was very difficult for me to carry him around like that. I purchased this car seat after my other car seat needed to be replaced and noticed the difference between the two was my original car seat dipped down deeper in the butt area allowing my son to sit deeper into the seat and this car seat did not dip down like that so my son's legs and feet were hanging a lot more out of this car seat which made my son completely fill the car seat meeting Max capacity as soon as I bought it. So unfortunately I had to return it because he didn't fit properly in this seat and I still need him in a car seat that I can take in and out of the car with him in it. With having a toddler in addition to my baby I cannot carry the baby plus a bigger car seat as well as my toddler up to flights of stairs to get to my apartment. I don't have my own vehicle so I have to transport my children in and out of somebody else's car. If I had my own vehicle where the car seat was staying inside of it I would have just purchased the next stage car seat. Other than my son being too long for this car seat and my personal opinion about the attached canopy this car seat looks like a great car seat! It looks very padded and comfortable it's just not a good fit for what I'm looking for ... show more
