I usually get a phone stand with side clips so my phone doesn't slide around on the stand if its bumped or something and this time I tried this one without the side clips, and its excellent. The rubber backing keeps my phone in place just fine. Its also tall, which is why I was trying it, since I need a stand on my desk that can hold my phone high enough I can talk into it while I type since I take IT calls. It's fine for what it is but not REALLY what I was looking for. I expected that it would extend in height further than it does; it only comes up another inch or two beyond the initial height. I use it at my desk and it hold my phone stable and at least a little bit elevated but far from head height. The quality feels decent, and it seems like it’ll last a while. Price-wise, it’s fair—not too expensive but not super cheap either, which makes sense for what you’re getting. One thing I really liked is how convenient it is; I didn’t have to spend too much time figuring it out. It worked well right out of the box. Of course, like anything, there’s always room for improvement, but nothing major stood out as a dealbreaker. If you’re on the fence about getting it, I’d say it’s worth a try. These are flimsy stands that don't permanently attach to the base (you could potentially glue them together). Any time I move a phone on my desk, the top of the stand separates from the base. Even when they are attached, there's a noticeable loose fit. These feel cheap and I regret buying them. Might be acceptable if you plan on using them for a display that you never touch.
