In this day and age of overpriced junk, finding a product that is worth even close to what the manufacturers ask is hard, so when one IS found it should be noted. This stand is simply great! It pivots, swivels and telescopes!!! I don't give many 5 star reviews, most of them are 3 or lower, but am very impressed with this stand. I use a wallet protector that isn't a quick release and this stand handles it with ease, I can open my phone and easily use it to text and it doesn't fall over, very stable. The lowest height accommodates any charging cord with no issues so using it while charging is also quite handy with no fuss. I have bought more expensive stands and by and large they are not well thought out or useful. This stand is the opposite, well thought out, well made and very useful. This stand is sturdy, perfect adjustable heights, ability to hold charger cord in place, 360 degree turns easily, and the color (I got red) is so cheery! Its a red raspberry and with a metallic sheen. Its exactly what I needed for my kitchen to keep it raised while Im using my cutting board. The height is perfect so i dont have to bend or pick it up. I can check everything keeping it in place. It has a screw withe a tool to install it super easily to attach the base to the pole. I love it and dont write reviews unless Im really impressed. Gadgets…sheesh. But this thing, it’s a \\GADGET!// I think this cell-stand is one of my all-time biggest NON-regret purchases! I “love” it. <3 It is so stinking useful, I’ve gotten to the point where I, admittedly, drag it around nearly everywhere with me. I originally got this stand to prop up an external web camera for school, but it quickly became the.thing I carry around the house with my phone. My phone, which is large, sits nicely either in portrait or in landscape. The base of the stand is weighted sufficiently so it doesn’t tip over if you telescope up the carriage (for lack of a better term) or if you tip the carriage forward or all the way back. I’ve never actually tried this, but you could probably telescope the arm to its max and lay the carriage horizontally to record yourself drawing or something like that; but the arm is not super long, so you’d probably need to set the stand up on something else. (That was more of just to give you an idea of how the stand functions. If I am face-timing someone and I don’t want them to see me, I’ll press the phone down horizontally so the other party looks at the ceiling.) This stands is great for setting the phone upright to read recipes or whatever else you may be reading. There is a notch out of the bottom tray so you can plug in your power cord. And the tray doesn’t fully cover the speakers—I use this stand to connect to Xbox parties via the app, or for phone calls, or to listen to music. The carriage has a thin no-slip rubber pad which holds the phone in place. Oh, and the carriage swivels. (It’s useful at times, but I’m too Type A to like it too much because I’m always truing it up…so it’s not off-center.) ... show more
