Got as that not listed gift for his bd at ten. It was a surprise gift. Kids ask for crazy things. Surreal what they think we as parents can give. He got a bat ($$) and this. But… once he decided to give it a chance instead of a super expensive, never-happening (so I say for now) video game system he was all in. He lays in bed and plays it. For hours. Of his own choosing. He loves it. Two months later it is still on ceiling. Never fell. Flawless. Both balls still intact and still used almost daily. He could play iPad. It’s on. He is throwing at the same time as sports. For an active kid …. It is a really good toy they don’t know about! My advice… let them decide when to install it. Share the reviews. What a fantastic idea. It's so fun. It comes with two light balls so no worries about it breaking anything :-) I was a little worried if the glue on it would stick to the ceiling but it did! Great Christmas or Birthday gift for any of your baseball fans.

    • Fell off ceiling after one month
If you are installing this above a bed, you have to be precise about where you put it. Ours was off by a few inches and it made it hard for our kid to use. Didn’t matter much anyway because it fell off after a month of very little use- and it took a layer of paint with it.
