I took a chance with buying “used/refurbished/inspected” to get a deal. (No critique to the product). Upon receipt and opening the case, it was clear that this was a new return, however…was also clear it was simply repackaged and shipped. There was no G string, no instructional booklet, and one of the bows was damaged. Clearly NOT “refurbished” OR “inspected” I’d contacted the seller but no response. If you're interested in learning how to play any instruments, please locate an instructor with good reviews & follows their directions on getting an instrument. These cheap instruments are nothing more than a glorified toy. They are cheaply made which makes them difficult to play. Currently, I have a student with one of these instruments. We have replaced the E string multiple times (like 3-4 times since Jan. 2024) and neither of the bows would allow the rosin to cling to the bow. After several months of encouraging the family to do a rental program at 1 of the 2 quality music stores, the student has managed to learn 2 scales & 1 song!
