For 40 bucks this thing does what I need good enough. It's not the most sturdy or well made but it gets the job done just fine. Spacing is adequate for hanging tools underneath, I fit some drills and a M12 3/8" impact in there no problem. Wouldn't fit my M12 right angle impact or M18 angle grinder but that's not surprising as those are odd shaped tools. Can fit all my batteries on a shelf no problem (9 assorted M12 & M18) with room to spare behind and my other tools that don't fit hanging on another shelf. Top shelf is alright for a "charging station" but I honestly don't think I'll even use it for that (see pics to see how an M12 and M18 charger fit up there). Side caddy is a nice inclusion even though it's not the greatest in terms of spacing and none of the pliers I have fit in the holes meant for pliers. My biggest gripe is the power strip at the top has 2 tiny screws on either end that butt up against the sides of the organizer when putting it all together which means the top doesn't sit flat against the power strip on both sides. Really dumb design flaw on their part but I just left the hex bolts that go there semi loose so it doesn't bow out up there. The remainder of hex bolts holding the thing together seem to hold it rigid enough just fine. ... show more

I bought this tool/shelf organizer to keep all my red power tools within easy reach instead of having to dig around in bags and cases. It works great so far! It’s sturdier than I expected with all metal construction. There’s plenty of room on the shelves for batteries and smaller tools. The power strip along the top in nice so you can always have your chargers plugged in and ready to go. The hooks and rack on the side are nice for extra storage if you need it. I wanted a shelf specifically for my ryobi power tools. One of my criteria was I wanted it to be a "one-stop-shop" with chargers, batteries and tool storage. As you can see it works like a charm! Nice an neat. I used larger 3" deck screws to hang it directly to the wall studs. Totally recommend!

This is a nice wall mount organizer for my cordless power tools and related accessories. I've seen plenty of DIY serious that are similar, made from wood or wood and PVC pipe, but I've never quite gotten to the D part of that particular project. So seeing one that's nice looking with lots of flexible capacity and only requires assembly was appealing to me. But if you're motivated, you could definitely build yourself one for less. I would say it's good Harbor Freight quality--US General, not ICON--which is not at all an insult. There is nothing substandard about the quality of materials but nothing outstanding either - every part is well suited to the purpose and its overall construction is solid. It arrives very compactly flat packed and requires simple assembly. One part of the assembly is wonky: the power strip attached to the top first, but the power strip is actually about 1/8" shorter than the shelves. When the instructions say don't tighten these screws, they mean leave them 2-3 turns out from contact. The purpose is to clear the protruding screws on the ends of the power strip, but this leaves you with no way to completely snug up the power strip unless you shim it with washers. It's not super critical as the structure is built on the three welded shelves and bottom rack, but it did make me have to backtrack during assembly. Once assembled and all screws tightened, this thing is solid. I like that the center shelf has three height options to allow you to make the best use of the shelf space depending on what you want to store. The power strip is solid feeling even though it's mostly plastic. It is a nice addition to support keeping chargers going while in the unit. There could be some accommodations for cable management, like maybe slots on the backside of the shelves, but for me it's not a huge deal to zip tie up the excess length and use the top shelf for charging. I keep some cases of drill bits and driver bits on the middle shelf but since there are 8 outlets there is room to add more chargers than I have. It's nice to get my tools out of the bag and on the wall. It helps create space in my shop and keep my tools organized, and seeing that my driver is not in place helps remind me to no leave it other places so it's ready next time I need it. For the current price of $75, it's not a no-brainer, because you could certainly build something custom and have cash left over. But it's not a bad price to have something that can be ready to go in 15 minutes and includes a power strip to keep things neat and save your outlets ... show more
