But I trying to learn! This machine appealed to me because it seemed much less intimidating than diving into and expensive machine. So far it's perfect to learn the basics on and do basic sewing type stuff like hems and other light tasks. The machine itself is light and easy to move and if you slow down and follow the instructions they are pretty good. I suspect that as soon as I start to really get the hang of it I will want something better for the long run, and that's OK. I will pass it onto somebody else that wants to learn. This is not going to work at your craft co-op or dry cleaning business but if you are a newby or a bachelor that needs to learn just a little but of sewing and a machine to get some small jobs done from time to time then this machine would be just fine.

Disclaimer: All opinions are my own and I pride myself on unbiased reviews that can help others decide whether something is worth it. This is very small and lightweight. Comes complete with everything that you need including a very cute and roomy carry case! This is absolutely perfect for kids and beginners! It has all kinds of stitch patterns you can choose from, a built in light, a removable table. EVERYTHING they give you fits in the included carry bag they give you! It’s definitely nice to lug this around vs my heavy duty metal sewing machine lol. I’ve been sewing for decades now and my actual sewing machine is a beast that can handle everything but for light fixes and things this is great! Just keep in mind this is absolutely lightweight as described. You cannot sew anything with too much thickness. It is pre-threaded for you and has instructions stickered onto the machine itself to teach you how to thread this machine as well. I was able to figure out pretty easily how it all works. There’s a little button on the side you push to turn on and off the light. The little plastic foot pedal is lightweight so you have to be careful not to push too hard or it’ll just GO. It comes with a couple of extra threaded bobbins too. If anything is learning how to sew or a kid learning how to sew, this is very much worth it.

I have been wanting to learn to sew for sometime. When I saw this I thought it'd be perfect. It is very easy to learn on. It shows you exactly how to thread the machine. It does come pre threaded which is awesome. Though the quality is not the best. I had to rethread the machine. The thread kept on getting caught on something. I don't know what it was caught on. The Needle did break after 20 minutes of using it. I do see extra needles in the little package. That's helpful. The light on the machine flickers every time you press the foot pedal. I do love how it's lightweight, and portable. It even comes with a carrying bag. The carrying bag is cute, and is nice quality. If the quality of the machine was better I would have given this a higher rating. It's good enough for beginners like me. Eventually I'll get a better quality machine once I'm more advanced

When I opened the box, I fell in love with this lovely little machine. Perfect for my 8yr old granddaughter. As a seamstress of many, many years, I was very excited to test it before I gave it to her. It had been threaded already, which suggests that maybe someone else got it first??? Anyhow, I plugged everything in. As soon as I switched it to on, the machine started to run on its own. No pressing on pedal, light not on??? Not safe for my granddaughter. I returned it today! Very disappointed! The 2 stars are because, although the machine is really very nice, it's operation is not.

I see extravagant Halloween costumes/cosplays for my daughter and I... by hand. If you think you're getting a machine that you can just foot and push, as a beginner you'll be wrong. The lack of videos due to being generic and the vague instructions on threading needles, you only have what is on the video in the photos. Screen record it and keep it saved. This is a good machine, it does go quick on slow. The needle height adjusts decent for thicker materials. I will update but I gotta take my time and learn. I did get some universal feet and they worked out fine though

I selected this sewing machine as a beginning unit for my oldest daughter to learn on before investing in a larger unit. What I liked about this machine is the compact design, with all the features and appearances of the larger units. I also liked the light purple color of the machine. The machine was simple to set up following the instructional booklet and my daughter has been practicing on a host of different stitching patterns that the machine can make. So far she has grasp the concept of loading thread in the machine and making a few simple stiches. I really like that she has a foot petal to work this machine as well so that she is able to keep both hands free during her practice. This is a really nice machine and it has been made with quality in mind. I am proud to have this learning unit for my daughter and she has gotten so much from this hands on experience so far. Great value and I am pleased with the machine.

I have had this a couple weeks and I'm still trying to figure out how to use this. Lots of detail and things to learn. I wish it was something I could learn in a day but that's not the case. Seems like a good little machine. I want to learn how to use this so I can sew things for my grandkids. I sew by hand normally but it's getting harder and harder for me these days. I did try a few stitches and think I did ok but I need more practice. It is great for beginners
