My husband and I got this because we thought it would be fun, and it absolutely is. The machine itself feels solid and stable. It has enough weight and substance that I never felt nervous using it, and the controls are simple and intuitive. After about 15 minutes of reading the instructions, I was able to make a button that looked genuinely good. So far I have only used the manual mode because I am making small batches and one-off designs rather than producing a large quantity of the same button. Switching between manual and automatic operation is very easy as it's just a selection on the control panel. The finished buttons come out cleanly and the pins close securely. The machine also comes with plenty of supplies, so you can make quite a few buttons before needing to buy anything else. I have used several Caydo products now, and this is probably the third or fourth one I've tried. My experience with the brand has consistently been good, and this feels like another well-designed product. What I really love is the fun factor. My family has gatherings and events fairly often, and I can already see making custom buttons for those. We also do themed things on trips to Disney, so this is exactly the kind of machine that will get pulled out whenever we want to make something personal or ridiculous. I cannot comment on whether it would hold up to heavy commercial use for an Etsy shop or vendor business because that is not how I am using it. I am a general consumer using it for fun, and for that purpose I love it. Do I need an electric button maker? Absolutely not. Am I going to have a ridiculous amount of fun with it? Absolutely yes.

This electronic button maker is the answer to sore wrists and shoulders! This button maker comes with everything needed to create buttons. The button maker comes with a mat and a round cookie cutter type device that aids and cutting pictures to perfectly fit inside of a button pin. The materials include all of the pieces needed to create 100 buttons in three different sizes. The machine is quiet and works very well to create professional looking buttons every time. The instructions are very easy to follow. This button maker makes two buttons at a time by rotating the bottom tray. It supplies the same amount of pressure to each button ensuring a tight seal and perfect crimp every time. The button maker can be used with metal button pin backs or plastic pin backs without damaging either. The electronic counter is fantastic when creating bulk orders. It automatically counts the number of pins completed for you. Button maker is fun and does not take up a lot of space. It surely beats out manual button makers for large orders. The button Maker works well with paper images and pictures alike. It is such a great value for the ease with which the machine presses the buttons and the quantity it makes per hour. I am very excited to have added this to my craft machine collection. The only downside is that the machine does not make heart shaped buttons so I still have to do those manually. Lucky for me those are specialty buttons that are few and far between.

This electric button maker is absolutely wonderful! I've always wanted to make my own buttons but know that the manual ones tend to error rather frequently so when I saw that this one was automatic I was super excited! I've already made a few and it works to perfection! I do wish they offered the molds for the other different sized pins. I inquired and was told that I would only be able to receive the other molds if I bought the machine that came with the kit as a bundle (it's the same exact machine just comes with the extra molds). I was beyond disappointed to hear that because I don't need two machines... I really really hope they release the other sized mold kit for purchase separately soon because this machine rocks!
