IT REALLY DOES THE JOB! Be warned, the accumulated dead flies in bag smell AWFUL. Keep it at least 3 feet from where people sit. We had it out about 4 days when stink became noticeable. I will take the trade off of much fewer flies on property any time. Now on second reorder.

The media could not be loaded. Oh yeah it works! Bought 4 and hung them outside my patio area and further out into the yard. The flies came immediately. Be sure to change out bags every three to four weeks because the bags will become brittle and fall from their hanging leaving a mess and awful smell. However, as they were hanging I barely smelled any odor. Greatly reduced the fly and insect issue.

I live on a ranch with horses dogs and chickens. Our fly bags have been up for 2 days, according to the suggested conditions and there are very few flies that have been captured. I did put up a different brand of fly bag right next to it and it has 4 times as many flies captured and they were put up at the same time. The fly attractant seems to be much less effective than the other brand. Why did you pick this product vs others?: It was purchased because the cost was less than the other brand.

We live in a desert around our farm and had a terrible fly problem. These have seemed to keep the flies away for the most part and I was surprised at how many it caught in such a short time. It caught so many that there began to grow maggots and I will tell you….it is the top 3 worst smells I have ever had to smell in my whole life. After the dead flies marinate in the ick if the other dead flies, the odor is so terrible, you can’t put it anywhere close to anything that has a nose. I’m trying to figure out how to dispose of it without throwing up. I’ve had then less than 2 weeks and the smell is unbearable. I won’t be able to keep up buying so frequently. A bit expensive when you think of it that way but like I said, it is effective at trapping the things.

These things WORK. We are new to chickens, and someone told me to get fly bags before they become a problem, so I did, and holy guacamole I'm so glad I did. the place in my yard with the least number of flies is by my coop, it's almost comical.
