Wow! This works!!! I put out two traps by my dog’s food where we have seen crickets and forgot about the traps. We have a large dog and have his water and food on a high breakfast tray. Food that he spills on the floor attracts crickets. And he drips water on the breakfast tray that also attracts crickets. We put glue boards under the breakfast tray. What a surprise when we remembered the glue boards. In two days the glue boards attracted about a hundred crickets. There were a lot of small crickets, so they have been multiplying. Because of our dog, we don’t want anything toxic. The worse that can happen is a foot gets stuck to the glue board. Having crickets printed on the boards is ingenious! I never realized how many crickets we had. If you are not catching any crickets, you could put a small piece of orange or carrot on the margin of the board. This is good food and water that will attract them. Dog or cat kibble is good, too. If you still don’t catch crickets, maybe they left town.

Great insect trap, but best to use when the results are not visible to residents. The destruction these traps deliver in your basement is hard to dispose of considering the volume of insects that get trapped in the glue….

These cricket glue boards (paper?) are working so far. It says it attracts crickets, but if it is, it is slow to do so. Another review said to give it time as it seemed to them that once a cricket gets stuck to the glue board, others will follow. Not sure if that is correct or if it is a function of time, but as time goes by we are trapping more crickets. I cannot stand crickets. The noise is annoying to say the least, and we don't like things crawling or hopping around in our house. I like that they are perforated and therefore easy to tear into two pieces. Put half a board in the garage and in less than a week it has trapped three; hopefully more as time goes by. Put the other half in the basement where a cricket was moving between the storage room and my office every other day. Nothing like being on a work call and having a cricket making noise in the background. In the same time period, the basement glue board hasn't caught anything yet, but perhaps there is nothing to catch at the moment. The one cricket that was in the basement made the mistake of coming out into the light where I got it with the vacuum cleaner. Hopefully there are no more in the basement, but the glue board will stay in place in the storage room so as to be ready for the next noisy invader.
