We are finishing up a remodel and replacing all of our light fixtures. We purchased two of the 3-light Sputnik chandeliers in Satin Nickle. I actually wanted one of them to have the 4 lights (to go over our dining room table) but unfortunately 4 lights is not available in Satin Nickle (would have been nice...hint, hint :)). I decided to take a chance on the 3 lights and based on our table size, I think it will be fine. We also installed one over our front entryway and it looks very pretty. Our biggest challenge with ceiling lights is we have vaulted/sloped ceilings. In our dining area, the ceiling is quite high. We were able to achieve the correct length by using one of the rods from the front entry light, so that worked out perfect! QUALITY/VALUE FOR MONEY: Very well constructed and feels solid - Not flimsy at all. Competitively priced. INSTALLATION: Overall fairly easy, however due to our high ceilings, it was definitely a 2-person job. Since our front-entryway ceiling is much lower, it was a lot easier. All of the required installation materials were included, and the ceiling adapter worked perfectly with our sloped ceilings. AESTHETICS: IMO, this is a very pretty fixture that has really updated our home and added a touch of elegance. It's modern but not so much that in a few years it will require a change out. BULBS and BRIGHTNESS: Since we don't want our guests to feel like they're being interrogated during dinner, we opted to use 40 watt bulbs in soft white. These seem sufficient, but we might switch them to 60 watt and change to a dimmer switch to adjust the brightness. Someone mentioned difficulty finding the correct bulbs. We did not experience this, however base and bulb size "codes" can be confusing from one manufacturer to another. This review is for MEXO Modern Gold 3-Light Ceiling Light with Opal White Glass Shade Semi Flush Mount ceiling light. Needed something with a low profile, modern and not too big or small. This size was just right. For the cost, not bad. If I could make an improvement it would be that one wouldn't have to look at the bulb and socket while eating dinner.
