I recently upgraded to a 2.5-3Gb internet plan, and decided to redo all the ethernet wiring in the house for the occasion. My previous infrastructure was mostly Cat5E, and worked fine with GbE, but the cables were very old and there was some "patchiness" to it, not to mention the yellowing and brittle-isation of the once white jackets looked very bad. 1000Ft is way more than I needed, but leaves room to grow. The box itself is fairly compact and the cable dispensing arrangement works fine. The cable is much easier to work with than the old stuff, being more flexible and MUCH less prone to "sticking" when feeding it through tight spaces. The blue jacket looks much better as well, and the combination of that and the flexibility resulted in a much cleaner ingress to the junction box/server closet. After putting it all in and installing 2.5G adapters where needed, the whole network came up fine with everything happily running at 2.5Gb.

This is a great value for 1000FT of Cat6 cable. It's fairly rigid, which is good in that it helps protect the cable from kinking while being pulled and keeps it from snagging. I had no problems pulling around 100ft of it through a number of 90 degree angles as I ran from where my fiber optic line comes into my house to my router in my basement network rack. Performance is excellent, with excellent bandwidth and consistent communication. Highly recommended for the price/value.

Needed to run a few additional runs for rooms in my house to install a mesh wifi system. Wanted high quality low latency cable that was easy to work with and that is exactly what you get with this product. Easy to terminate and once installed ran great at full duplex gig speeds and low latency even on longer runs. 10/10 would recommend.

BOTTOM LINE: 1. I recommend this Lysymixs Cat6 Ethernet Cable 1000FT Channel Test Pass, Cat6 1000ft Ethernet Cable 23AWG Solid CCA. 2. The current price of ~$80 is reasonable. LIKES: - Great inexpensive option for longer runs. Not plenum rated, so be aware when you run this cable. - Specs are good enough to future proof my cable runs. - 2 foot markings on cable. Makes it easy to keep runs to an even 2 feet. DISLIKES: - Outer sheath is thin and the internal wires easily show through.

With the rising cost of infrastructure wiring, this is a great option for making cable runs. Cable has come a long way from Cat3, this is a decent and strong cable for pulling runs. Not the most flexible cable I've worked with, but for Cat6 it is more than reasonable as long as you can keep it from twisting while pulling.

Cat6 doing what cat6 should do. best part is current coupon price is a steal. Easy to work with, nice standard light blue jacket anyone should recognize. Can find no faults with this cable. 10Gbps switch connection from basement to 2nd floor solid link with 2.5GbE links to PCs solid as well.

A good deal on a spool of CAT6. I would get it again. It tests well at 2 feet, 6 feet, 12 feet, and 20 feet.
