Great quality! The wood is nicely finished and is of a quality that would look good stained as well as painted if you do not want the natural wood color. The wood pieces are nicely and cleanly cut. They fit easily and neatly together. The hammock is a sturdy and nicely finished with no ugly hems or loose thread. It is also a clean simple design that if you wanted to make one yourself out of a different color or print to match your decor, it would be easy to do. It is easy to assemble. Within 30 minutes of taking it out of the box, my 5 month old cat had already climbed up the 3 posts and was laying in the hammock. Included with the pieces was a real screwdriver, not just an Allen wrench. The hardware is quality hardware. It was very easy to assemble with just the screwdriver. There are predrilled starter holes for the screws making it easy to tighten the screws without a power tool. Just take care to keep the screw straight as you tighten so it will remain easy and end up flush with the wood. The suction cups are high quality and clear. They install easily. They stick easily and appear to be very strong. My window is 6’ x 6’ and opens from the bottom. The 3 posts sitting at floor level are not quite high enough to clear the opening section of the window so I am going to purchase one more post to make it high enough so the suction cups will reach the static part of the window above the part that opens so I can still open it. The posts are sturdy and the scratch rope attached to it is secure. Since I am going to add some height to it, which may add some additional force to the pole and window as my rambunctious cat jumps to and fro, I have taken half a concrete block, covered it in scratch carpet material, and slid down the pole through its opening to add some weight to the base. I cannot say enough great things about this product. The quality makes it well worth the price. This truly is one of the best quality items I have purchased. I was not expecting such a well cut and sturdy product. Now I want to see what else this maker or store has to offer.

Honestly wasn’t sure what to expect with a cat perch off amazon but was pleasantly surprised when I received a well packed box with literally everything I needed to put it together screwdriver and all. Assembly was 10 minutes and the quality of the wood was shockingly good. The pillow was soft and my cat seems to love it

This perch is very sturdy and well built, and my cat seems to like it so far. I specifically ordered the wooden perch instead of the hammock because I knew my cat would prefer a solid surface that’s easier to sit on and climb onto. However, the item images in the listing show the wooden perch with an adhesive-backed felted rug attached, and the instructional video even demonstrates how to apply it. Unfortunately, ours arrived with a small pillow pad and very small Velcro stickers instead. The pillow pad doesn’t fit the perch properly — it’s too long when placed vertically and not wide enough when placed horizontally (see photos). The backing is a slippery nylon material, and the Velcro does not stay adhered. The first time my cat jumped up, he slipped, and now he’s understandably hesitant to try again. The felted rug shown in the listing seems like a pretty crucial feature, especially for cats who rely on being able to hook their claws when climbing up. The slippery pillow doesn’t provide that at all. Maybe the felt material was unavailable, but the difference feels a bit misleading compared to what’s advertised. I’m now going to try to find a similar felted material to add myself, but I don’t feel I should have to purchase something separately that was supposed to be included. If this issue were fixed or the correct felted rug were provided, this would easily be a 5-star product and one I’d highly recommend. If your cat doesn’t mind a pillow-style surface, I would still recommend this perch — the construction itself is excellent.

Our cats looooove this perch. I appreciate that it’s somewhat customizable in height, if your feline friend isn’t a jumper, you can not use one of the pole pieces to make it shorter. We hang things off the hammock area for them to play with from the base too The suction cups are strong and make the set up VERY secure. I have zero fear of it falling, even with both of my cats being crazy jumpers/climbers. It would be nice if there was a larger hammock, for multi cat households.

The cats love it! I put this one in the kitchen window to stop them from going on the table and counters. With Churu treats I got them to prefer it. They climb and wait there. I gave it a coat of laker so it does not get dirty.

It is really pretty, but it sucks that it does not work for my cat. I assembled it following the instructions (it was hard to assemble as some of the holes were not placed properly). After completion, the tree is wobbly. The base is not sturdy at all. Once my cat climbs up on the porch, the tree kept falling over, and my cat almost fell with it. It is dangerous.
