I like it. I have three cats, ages 14, 15 and 15. Two love to play. Play is a lot more fun when it’s with a human playmate and a hand held wand. But, this toy is pretty successful by itself. The first cat likes it so far (and I expect my other one will too). She played with it a bit, it held her interest for a while, she wasn’t particularly intimidated by it (which can happen as a busy toy can be scary if a cat doesn’t know what to make of it). That’s a lot considering the fact that the toy is self-powered without a live playmate (me) if you want it to be. So, you can hold it to play with your cat, or you leave it on the floor on its own to squirm. And squirm is an understatement! Three important things to know: 1. Two silicone “tails” are included. Before attaching the silicone “tail” to the body, wash the tail attachment with warm soapy water. The silicone has a terrible chemical smell to it. Cats may attempt to eat the silicone (this is stated in the booklet that comes with the toy). I can’t imagine that there is no toxicity but it is states that the silicone is “food grade” and safe if eaten but it says cats may attempt to eat it. It states don’t let your cat eat it. 2. This toy wiggles wildly and moves distances across the floor. If there are any things on the floor (both hard floor and carpet) it may get stuck in or between things, including furniture. Also, any lightweight stuff on the floor and under surfaces/furniture - fur, hair, dust, etc will stick to the silicone tail as it thrashes about. Cats will eat this most likely when they chew on it. 3. This is not a “pet companion” as stated. At least not for more than 10 minutes. The toy will move for 10 minutes only, then stop. The directions say the battery will last one hour on a full charge. The device takes 2 hours to fully charge. A USB cord is included to use to charge the internal battery. So far I think this toy is worth the $19 I paid for it on Amazon. I would be happier if it stayed on for longer than 10 minutes before stopping. I think this toy will be entertaining for my older cats as long as they aren’t intimidated by it and can keep up with it. Kittens and younger cats will love it. This toy keeps moving and is unpredictable which can hold a cat’s attention indefinitely. It can’t break or come apart (easily) or fall down as it’s down already, and it should last, all of which are hard to find in the world of automated cat toys. A very good product (in my opinion). This is a great toy for a high needs kitten who doesn't have a play buddy. Well, to be fair, my husband has made it his part time job to play with kitty but kitty still wants more. This toy will run for a solid hour on a full charge but only stays active for 10 minutes increments, so the charge lasts. The direction changes and pauses keep my cat entertained and engaged. It has given my husband a much needed break from cat play so he can attend to his paying job. I have only had this toy for a couple of weeks so can't speak to the longevity of it yet but it seems sturdy and well made and comes with a 3 year warranty, so you can't lose. My cats ages range from 6 months to 10 years and they love this toy! They go crazy and the nice thing is that they play together. It’s been an adjustment with a new kitty in the house and the 10 year old hasn’t been too nice. This toy brings them all together to play and no bad behavior! I hold the toy and it looks like they’re trying to box with it. The speed is great for my cats too. I thought the toy was suppose to stand up but it doesn’t. It lays on its side. The tail is soft and doesn’t hurt when it whips around. I put the toy on the carpet instead of the hardwood floors because the noise it makes against the hardwood floors scares the cats. All and all is a great toy for all ages and we humans get a good laugh out of watching it and interacting. I gave it 4 stars because it looks as the tail can break off easily and I thought it stood up. Battery isn’t horrible. ... show more

My kitten loves this toy and it is engaging him because of the way it moves and spins. It's really cute to watch him try to conquer the toy and stop it from moving. Battery life is too short for my liking, but I will buy this again.

Unfortunately, neither one of my ginger kitties like this toy. They both watch for a couple minutes and then just walk away without any interaction. I'm sure there are other cats out there that will like it. The toy itself seems pretty decent. The silicone rubber "tail" is soft and very flexible. The media could not be loaded. When I first purchased this toy, it was with the silicone tails. My cats were interested, but it was fast and loud! They loved whacking at it when I held the toy base in my hand, and the tail wriggled around. Of course that would also have the tail whack them in the face. It was easier for them to play with it on the floor when the battery started to die and slowed down. Otherwise they kind of hopped around it, as it hit them on their cute little feetsies (see video if it actually uploads). One of my cats already has a tendency to chew and eat parts of toys and anything stringy. So I have to supervise some of his toy usage. I looked away for a few seconds, and during that time, he managed to chew off a few pieces of the silicone tail! I put the toy away in their supervised closed toy box for later use. Not too long after, the company contacted customers about the issue of the silicone tails being chewed off easily, and an offer to try out the plush tail solution. I tried it out, and it's MUCH BETTER! My cats now fight over who gets to play with the toy. They love to drag it around by their mouths, and lick the feathers. It's much quieter, and moves better too. Best of all, I can leave the toy out for them to play, and not have to worry about the tail being chewed off and ingested! The plush tail is much more durable, and I think easier for the cats to play with too. The seller has been great with keeping in contact about the issue and update. I appreciated the offer to try out the plush tails as well. I will be purchasing more toys from them in the future! ... show more
