I feel like I'm always buying cat toys because my cats will get bored of their toys pretty quickly and they love chasing the wand toys, but I don't regularly have time to play with them with it multiple times a day. I decided to give this toy a try because I used to have a version of this that wasn't electronic and it kept one of my cats entertained for a decent amount of time. This one, however, was a game changer. It's been months and my cats are still endlessly entertained by it, and I am entertained watching them. Charging it can be a bit of a pain by you have to take it off the wall and then the cords not super long, but the battery lasts a solid amount of time. I probably have to charge it once a week or so. So, it's really not too bad. The price isn't bad for it still keeping them entertained, so I can't complain. The only thing it doesn't do that would make it better (for me, since sometimes I have to be gone all day), would be if it had a setting that allowed it to randomly go off during the day. You have to press the button to activate it, and it'll keep going for about 10min before stopping for a 5min break or so and then it will go again, so ultimately it'll go for up to 30min on and off, but then you have to push the button again if you want it to go again. So, if I'm not here to press it, it won't go.

I'm happy with this toy overall, however it is not holding a charge anymore and we've only been using it for about ten weeks. Maybe once or twice daily. I'd expect more battery life from a $25 cat toy.

Works great except that it does its two 15 minute cycles, and then it's off. So, unless you go push start again, it's off, and your cat is left wanting and bored for the other 23.5 hrs in the day.

My kitten loves this toy. He pulls and jumps at the mouse and likes to hide, hunt and jump at it. The toy is very stimulating. But maybe too stimulating for my kitten. So now I only let him play with it supervised and with time limits. The first time he played with it, he tired himself out to the point where he was panting, meowing and his paws were sweaty. I had to bring him water and calm him down. Now, I only put the toy up for thirty minutes and then take it away. I usually let him play with it once or twice a day, and he gets excited when he sees me take it out the drawer.

My cats really enjoy playing with this. I do have to rotate it out a few times as it gets old after awhile and then they start to ignore it (like all of their toys). It's very durable and sturdy. I like how the clips at the top are tight but big enough to cover a larger wall area as my doors are pretty thick. The battery isn't the greatest. I do have to recharge it after about two days of use. I also sort of wish there was an easier way to turn it on, like a remote or even if it were motion detected. At 5'2, with it hanging up high, it can be tough for me to reach up and click the "on" button. It's not impossible as I can do it by standing on my tippy toes, but it would be easier with a remote or something.

My cat LOVES this toy. He cries for me to put it on each morning! I have stuggled to keep my Siamese Point entertained/stimulated by himself during the day while I work at home but this has been game changer and he still isnt bored of it even after a month! It is very quick & easy to hang or remove around the door frame. And hasn't left any marks on the wall! But let me tell you how shocked I am on how well this has held up. My cat litterally attacks & stretches the string so hard around corners even up a flight of stairs trying to take the mouse but it has not snapped or budged a bit. I turn it on for about an 1 hour a day and the battery last for about a week before it needs to be charged. It charges fast the only problem I have is trying to hide it from him so he doesnt drag it around 😅. My only complaint is its tricky to turn it off with the string rolled up. I have been just tucking the mouse between the spring and the door frame when its not being used to keep it out of reach. 100% would recommend for the price point!
