Works great but if you have a cat that really likes to teeth, don't leave them alone. We have one cat that likes to make the most blissful, eyes closed chewing face like when you've eaten a bite of those single slice, fancy flavored and dressed patisserie cakes. He also just chews and chews, not realizing he's just taken a chunk of the toys head off. Just be careful if you have a cat that likes to bite really hard like you don't have utensils but you really want to eat the steak sitting in front of you.

This product has a very strong rubber smell. My cat was not interested in it at all even when I added extra catnip to it. I think the rubber smell overpowered the catnip.

The quality was great.. there was a catnip pouch already inside of each of them, plus an extra one..which I pushed inside as well. However, neither of my cats (1yr and 2yr) nor my puppy (11mo) will even touch them. They have ZERO interest in them. Pretty bummed because I was desperately looking for things for them to chew OTHER THAN ALL OF MY CORDS lmao… No luck. Ohwell. Kind of an expensive trial and error, but not worth returning.. I will still leave them out. They all have a bunch of toys anyway, so not a big deal to just add them to their loot. Obviously I would not buy them again, though they are perfect chewing material and excellent quality. I can see why people say the tail gets chewed off, it’s the thinnest part.

This item is larger than I had hoped for a cat. After washing the item, I first put the catnip packs back in. My two cats smelled them, but no interest after that. I put in additional catnip and rubbed the toys in the catnip also. The cats batted at them a couple times. I then put treats inside, and once again no real interest. My final attempt was I made catnip tea, cooled it, and placed the two toys in the tea for an hour. Put the treats, catnip packs, and fresh catnip, which with anything else, they would be all over it. Nothing. We had a 15 wk old puppy come visit who was very interested in them with nothing in them. Since they seem fairly sturdy, but I did keep an eye on him while the chewed on them instead of everything else in my house.

Bigger than I thought. Not soft at all. Cats weren’t interested in chewing on it. Smelled very rubbery. No instructions on how to put the bell on securely so it won’t get eaten by cats. Came with a packet of catnip inserted in the large opening where packet can easily fall out. Came with extra packet of catnip. Doesn’t matter because cats were totally uninterested.
