Absolutely love this generator. It’s compact, lightweight, and powerful enough for everything I need. I’m using it on our Camper Van and it puts out enough power to run the Rooftop Ac as well as all the accessories. Wouldn’t believe how quiet this thing is. I love the fact that it has electric start plus a remote key fob so I can start it from inside the camper. Plus the fact that it runs on propane let it run all night long while we’re sleeping and keep the AC on. The customer service with this company is amazing. I bought a unit and it ran on gasoline fine but it wouldn’t run on propane. A few emails back-and-forth between the company and their tech department diagnosed that it was a defective internal part. They offered to ship out the parts promptly however we discovered it as a delay and they had none in stock. When I explained that I had a family vacation coming up and it would be very inconvenient to wait the 6 to 8 weeks to get the replacement part they simply sent me another generator which works perfectly. I couldn’t be happier with the product or the customer service that received I would give them six stars if I could.

No complaints so far! Haven’t used it all that much, but I’ll update if I run into any issues. PERFORMANCE - I am a hot shot truck driver and purchased this to run a portable air conditioner (or space heater during winter) and charge my personal electronics. The portable a/c is rated at 400W with startup at 1500W. So the running wattage is well under the limit, but the starting wattage is just below max output and the generator has handled it fine to this point. Initial setup wasn’t hard and the instructions were easy to follow. Subsequent starts also did not give me a hard time. QUALITY - The unit looks and feels like a premium product. SOUND - The stated decibel level is a little misleading. It says 57db, but it’s actually “57db at 23 feet”. I think that is still just a little inaccurate, but not by too much. When the generator was running with no load and I was standing ~5 feet away I measured the noise at 72-73db. Right next to the generator was about 80db. When it’s under a decent load the engine does start working harder and gets louder, but nothing I am uneasy with in regard to running the generator at a truck stop. So this is the only criticism I have at this point. I am still satisfied with the purchase though, and would purchase it again knowing it’s a little louder than expected.

Bought this to run a portable AC unit in our tent during the hot weather and it worked great. We ran the AC for around 8 hours at a time last week with no issues once everything was set up correctly. It was a little slow to start the first couple times, but after that it handled the AC all day without a problem. One thing we didn’t realize at first was that you need tools to add the oil, and ours also took a little more oil than the directions stated before reading correctly on the level. Other than that, setup was pretty straightforward and the generator ran quieter than we expected. We’ve only used it a few times so far, but overall very happy with the purchase and I’ll update my review after a few more uses.

To start off I bought this generator to run my food truck. This is overkill for most food trucks. My food truck is a full-blown kitchen. I have a 32 ft.³refrigerator freezer, a cold prep table, two warming bins, a water heater, a 24,000 BTU heating air-conditioning unit. This generator runs all that flawlessly. It does require 89 octane gas to run quietly. I would not recommend running 87. But when I say quietly, it runs as quiet as my Honda generators which are only 4000 W. It turns out that the inverter had a female receptacle that was buried in the resin. I don’t know how they ever fit the male into that part., Which leads me to wonder how they tested it before it went out the door. The other issue I had is I had to wait on my truck after I had ordered the generator. So it was two months before I fired it up and got it running. Amazon initially told me they would not leave me hanging, and unfortunately, whenever it was slow communication in the beginning in the end Amazon told me there was nothing they could do. I was out $2300. AI volt stepped up and sent me the inverter, this fixed the problem. The problem is, I couldn’t install it and I had to wait in line behind the electrician who is fixing it for me to get to it. It ended up costing me about $350 to get it fixed but AI volt reimbursed my credit card through Amazon. They were quick to respond, and they did fix the problem. And the only reason I’m giving them four stars is because I don’t think that it was tested before it went out the door. Other than that, it runs quietly. It does a great job. And it actually could run the average home. It has a built-in surge protector. My advice start it up and make sure it works for at least 10 hours before your 30 days is up or Amazon is not gonna help you out.That being said, AI Volt did stand behind their warranty. They were quick to respond, unfortunately in America it’s hard to find somebody to work on a generator because you have to be a small engine repair person and an electrician.

I recently purchased the AIVolt 11,250 inverter generator and returned it directly. I prepped the generator for it's break-in run. After running the generator for one (1) hour, I shut it down to move it to a shaded location. Upon restarting the generator, it immediately ran very rough and would NOT output any voltage, neither 120V or 240V. I hemmed and hawed before purchasing this generator due to the fact that their support team is based in China, which I confirmed through emails with them. That should've been enough of a deterrent but I really wanted to like this unit due to the impressive technical specifications, it's solid copper windings as well as the price point. I get it, I received a Dud, but it was more than a minor QC overlook though, it was a complete system failure. I have since purchased a comparable Duromax inverter generator which I am currently breaking in. Duromax has a USA based support helpline with a 5yr warranty vs a 2yr warranty with AIVolt. Big difference! I called the support number because the regulator on the propane hose had an issue, they were very accommodating and a new regulator and hose are on their way to me. Your mileage may vary, but I feel a whole lot better about the equipment I now have. Good luck out there.

I have this connected to my 250 gallon propane tank. It comes with a 1/2 inch male quick connect for propane hose, so fittings on a longer propane hose if you need one would need a female 1/2 inch quick connect fitting. It comes with a hose for portable tanks. All works perfectly so far. Ran it break in period with no load on it for 5 hours then changed the oil. Oil change was easy. It will easily handle the 7000+ watt load we put on it while running the cloths dryer, computers, tv and lights in the house. It will handle up to about 5000 watts running on the quieter eco mode without bogging down. No hiccups so far. Electric start fires it right up and it purrs along nicely. The included battery tender keeps the battery charged to run the LCD display and electric start but isn't necessary as the recoil pull will start the generator even if the battery is dead. The display center reports hours is has currently been running AND total accumulated hours the Generator has on it. Voltage output and Load it is handling is also displayed. Safe to say I am happy with it! I should add that this generator is neutral bonded to frame which is good for stand alone use. If it is connected for whole house backup where it would be grounded by the house electrical system, it needs to be unbonded at the frame which is easy as removing 6 screws from the front panel and removing the white neutral jumper wire from the panel connection and taping it up or shrink wrapping it then tuck it out of the way. I suggest getting an electrician if you are not familiar with these things.
