The media could not be loaded. Needed a scratching post so our girls would stop going after the couch. They were sniffing the box as soon as it arrived. So far they are all over it! The love the balls with the little bells inside , the hide and seek mouse in the bottom and the leaves on top, that may be the only complaint is you have the push really hard to get the leaves down in the top, but at least I’m not worried that it will come out easily. It feels sturdy, and only needed the Allen wrench to assemble. It was put together in under 5 minutes. It’s the ideal height for our girls to scratch on. To be honest I got this style just to make my husband roll his eyes! Cause we both know that our cat is spoiled and knows it! So in true Louis fashion he posed with his catch next to him. The kids cracked up as our 17lb cat scratched, clawed, roll around trying to take down the tree but surprisingly he wasn't able to. This is very sturdy and well made if assembled properly. I hate the top piece never stays on and cannot make it go far enough down to stay. Love its easy to assemble,cats love it and tightly woven.

I bought this for several reasons. First, my house isn't that big and I have to limit myself somewhat on the size of cat furniture. The second reason was my cat is half Maine Coon half American shorthair, so he's a fairly large cat and needs a tree that he can really stretch on but also one that stays upright. This one suits the bill for the most part. He can get a decent stretch and still rake the bejeebers out of it. I say "for the most part" because he did get a little enthusiastic about it and knocked it over ( he is a big cat) but I can't fault the tree for that as it is sturdy and would do well for a normal size cat. It was simple enough to put together, I kind of thought the leaves could be a little fuller, but that's just me. If they get mangled enough they can be easily replaced with something from a discount store. At any rate, Rayne likes it, I like it, and the rest of my furniture will finally be left in peace. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Looks like this is a hit with my cat! As you can see in the video, she's putting it to the test and it seems to be sturdy enough. She's claimed all over it and it stays standing. She absolutely loves the little mouse at the bottom. It's incredibly easy to put together and, unlike soke of the reviews, my leaves popped right into the top securely. She's ruffled alp through those things and they didn't budge from their post.
