My first pair I ever bought of these....were at a Sears store backin 2013 for $50. Thinking they were going to be a cheap work boot. Well that pair lasted 5 years before I lost them in a house fire. Bought the exact same pair in 2018 (in pictures), and they lasted damn near 5 years in everything from factory work, hiking boots, concrete, landscaping and overall...outside fun, activites and mainly WORK. The old pair still had life left, grip on the soles and 1 new pair of laces. Finally bought a new pair of these boots and they feel just like the old ones. I always coat my leather in Mink Oil rub...let that soak in for a couple days and then go back over with some Neatsfoot Oil. Makes them nice and malleable, along with a waterPROOF finish. Week 1 on these new boots and they already feel amazing. They ARE a bit more expensive these days, but amazing quality. ... show more

These are my working outside or at the lake boots and are almost 3 years old. They have taken a beating and still keep trucking. Bought these for my uncle as a birthday present. He loved them. They are much lighter than the traditional sting worm boot, they look great and keep your feet healthy, safe and dry. Great name in work boots. Will purchase from Caterpillar again.

Strong protection in the toe, and the leather held up to a real beating. I’ve used them almost every weekend for the last 5 years. My one complaint is about the water resistance; lost that after about three years so today I’m rebuying for that main issue, but otherwise they’re a solid safety shoe. I chose to put inserts in there but I do that with everything on my feet. ... show more

Had some other Cat steeltoe boots of a different make/model that lasted me about a year before the inner lining/heel wore out. Decided to go with Cat again but a different model of boot this time and stumbled upon these. The inner lining/heel support seemed alot thicker in these so i figured theyd last longer. I like them so far and made sure to condition them over the weekend when i got them. Be aware, these boots are very stiff for about the first week or so then they get broken in fairly nicely. I tried several different brands until I started wearing the CATs. This is a really well made work boot. I have found that it lasts longer and is more comfortable than many other boots on the market today. So far it's been like 3 months super comfortable right outta the box. Didn't feel the need to bring my old boots to work when breaking these in. Also there water resistant feet haven't been wet since Ive had em.
