This is the first bag that worked for us. Our cat didn't like it at all but we were able to trim her nails without her scratching us. She hates getting them trimmed. Gave it 4 stars for a successful nail trim. Would have given 5 stars if she liked it a little more.

Most of our fur babies hate the crate for vet appointments and the stress on them and us is a nightmare. On a whim I got this bag feeling uncertain about it, but once we got her in, she was cozy and actually climbed back into it at the vet. I washed it and put it back on her bed and she’s now using it as a bed! 🥹🤣 Buying more for our other munchkins. Highly recommend! Love that it’s so compact and washable, too. She’s 10 lbs and I got the large. Would get a size smaller next time (she was able to stick out a paw at the tightest velcro setting, but since we held her the whole time it wasn’t an issue.

Used it to get a cat to the vet. Worked great! Now he can’t attack the vet. He’s a large cat. 21 pds. It was easy to put him in it. The battle was over before it began. It was big and roomy fit real good. The vet loved it.

This bag works OK so far but have not tried it out at the vet yet which was my primary objective. I have an 18 lb cat who fights the vet so much that he cannot perform an adequate annual exam. Was hoping this bag might help with that so will have to report on that later. But in the meantime I’ve been trying to get him used to being in the bag by associating it with something he likes — my carrying him outside. Naturally, hauling around an 18 lb cat is no easy task particularly if he starts to struggle. So the bag definitely helps in that respect. But it is still awkward to carry. The two handles only allow you to carry it as a hand bag with no support under his feet or body. I would prefer to have a longer strap that could go over MY body so I could support most of his weight across my shoulders…but able to hold him underneath his body to support him. The current strap is too short to use as a cross-body carry.

i have an average size adult male orange tabby at about 17lbs, and he BARELY squeezed into the large size, and he was very uncomfortable. i think this has the potential to be great though, so will try exchanging for the x-large

Last vet visit he tried to bite someone, he gets stressed and angry after being stuffed in a crate. I was called because they forgot to administer the rabies shot and we needed to bring him back. We waited till his new bag showed up and had it around the house a few days. It was easy to get him in the bag, he wasn't too excited but didn't object much either. He was calm while we drove, I could pet him and talk to him. He's a big cat, 16.5 pounds and the large size fit well and kept him warm. He had recently been "lion shaved" due to long hair matted coat--he objects to grooming with claws and teeth. I handed him off to the vet tech who came out to our truck, and she was surprised to see he was confined and comfortable. She took him in her arms and walked around the vet clinic, showing off his bag. I asked how he did and she said he was a "perfect gentleman" and was returned to me after his shot still calm. He didn't seem frustrated till we arrived at home and he was ready to be free. I also lent the bag to my daughter when she moved. She held her cat on her lap in the bag, while I drove her car. His normal misery and fear in the car became just a long long nap. He is a long hair cat. We could see the bag might get too hot on a warm day, so we unzipped him partially to give him more ventilation. I think this is a great quality product and much less stressful way to transport for the cat and the owner. A light color is probably the best choice to avoid overheating the cat especially if you have a long haired cat. We got lavender.

My cat would hate cat carriers - well his last trip to the vet was a sad one- he loved the ride for first time in his 12 years.. found out he had a tumor on his heart at vet. It was SUCH a JOY to see his face happy and loving seeing everything while I held him on the last 2 car rides!! Must have for cats instead of carriers.
