I've been wearing the same pair of Frost grey Cats for over three years now. I bought a different pair of steel toes to try and I hated them so much I brought my Cats back out of retirement. I've worn them for work (factory), lawn care, and even to music festivals to keep my toesies safe. Even after three years, they still hold up and have great support. Really like them, wish the price hadn’t doubled. They are difficult to keep looking nice & conditioned. They scuff easily. I have thinner ankles, they are supportive for me.

I’m a true 6 1/2, these boots are true to size! I’ in road construction and hauling stone, when I work with asphalt, I wear my RedWings, I love these Cat boots so much, they’re saved for a cleaner job!!

These are absolutely as cute as they are in the customer review pictures, and that's the only good thing I'll say about these boots. I gave these things everything I had to break them in or make them comfortable in any way possible. Thick socks, orthotics of every shape and size, everything. NOTHING made these boots bearable enough to be wearable. If I had sized up two sizes and wore huge clown shoes I might have been able to squeeze enough cushion in them to make them decent. They are literally like walking on hundred year old concrete with a sheet of steel one foot thick for cushioning. I am not on my feet all day, I'm mostly at a desk. I cannot imagine working all day, every day in these things on my feet. One time I had to be on my feet in these things for three 10 hour days, it took two weeks for my ankles and knees to de-swell to their normal size. And this was after "breaking them in" for months. After that I can't even stand to look at these shoes. I wish I could return them so bad. If you absolutely must get these, size up 2 sizes and invest in all the foot cushioning inserts you can. They are sturdy boots and I love look but they provide ZERO ankle support. Standing and walking for 8 hrs a day..my ankles turned in ..when the boots came off my ankles would swell outrageously from that torque. Ill use them for short jobs but never for daily long wear again.
