I've picked up several different soft-sided carriers for cats and puppies, and this one is my favorite so far. It has better height than most, which should allow your pet to feel less cramped. This height also gives the mesh panels on the top and sides more surface area, so Fluffy has a better view and airflow while in the carrier. There is a faux wool covered hard bottom that helps with reinforcing the floor and providing a comfortable and stable surface. The fabric material on the outside is soft, like a flannel, and there are reinforcing rods in the top to help hold the carrier roof in place. But my favorite feature of this carrier is the securable dual zippers on the openings in the top, end, and side. Each zipper pair has a clip on the outside to hook the two zippers together, so even if Fluffy manages to get a claw on the zipper from inside, sliding it around won't allow the panel to open - it'll only cause the two zippers on each panel to chase each other, leaving the panel closed. This is a wonderful security feature I've not seen on other carriers. Bravo to whomever thought of this. All of these features together make this the top choice in my household for transporting our animals.

I will start by saying that I'm a little confused as to the 4 star reviews on this carrier. It has become one of my favorite dog carriers. I think I really like the aesthetics, the colors work perfectly with the rest of my luggage AND my dog is black and white. Lol I love how stylish it looks, that was the allure initially, but my dog also has to be happy in it. I use various carriers, including backpacks and these types, and I think she likes this one the most (or maybe I do. Lol). It is well made, has lots of mesh for viewing out/in and of course for air. The zippers lock in place, which I love. I don't need to lock them with my dog, but it's nice to have the option. None of my other carriers have this option. They work smoothly, good zipper quality. I also like that it has the large mesh areas on the long sides, but the ends are covered, with mesh only towards the top because sometimes when I travel, I don't need everyone knowing there's a dog in my bag (specific reasons). Enough mesh for breathing and for my Lucy to see out, so she's not bored. The bottom is just a bit of sherpa covering a hard piece, which most carriers have. I use it with a very light blanket inside to keep her from jostling around as I walk with it, and she sits in it comfortably. And again, it just looks so much nicer than a plain carrier. At the time I ordered it, it plainly said "One medium cat, or 2 small kittens, or one puppy", and the measurements are in the description, so I'm not sure where the misunderstanding is, or why people would ding it a star for that. Unless, the headline was different at some point, idk. But I give it 5 stars! Like I said, one of my faves aesthetically, as well as for utility, and my Lucy gave it a 2 paws up!

This pet carrier is the perfect size for my cats and for my little miniature pincher/weiner dog. It has a comfortable bed/pad for it and 2 wide openings for easy access to your pets. I love the handles and the shoulder strap so that there are 2 ways to carry it too. The shoulder strap is comfortable and adjustable and all the straps seem durable and should easily handle the size of pet that will fit in this carrier. This carrier easily locks into place when you unfold it. However, pay attention to how it unfolds. I didn't do that when I first opened it and had a heck of a time figuring out how to fold it back. Felt pretty stupid once I did figure it out. Lol The only reason I'm rating it 4 stars is because it's a little on the small side. None of my pets are super chunky or large, so it's fine for them. However, I've seen some pretty big cats (like my sister's) who I think might have a harder time fitting into this carrier. If you have an extremely large or larger than normal cat, I would double check the measurements to see if this would work for you. If you're not sure, then I'd probably suggest a larger carrier.

Easy to fold and unfold, very easy to use and carry. Stitching and fabric are sturdy and well made. Kitten loves it, and we leave it open and she sleeps in it. Great value for comfortable transportation.

As far as sturdiness, I have not used it yet, but it seems like it won’t collapse when you hold it. I specifically bought it because there are clips when you zip it up there are clips. My previous one my cat could push right through and cut out lol, however when I realized it was the clips are so tiny they are not only going to be difficult for me because I have arthritis they’re going to break. I also realize maybe this will help someone if you buy a small cabilier probably spelled it wrong, but it kind of look like rock climber shoes, but only tiny very small like you would put on your keychain. It would hold way better. Just put it through the two holes on the two zipper poles. Yeah these little class are going to be difficult for me. And by the time I get them hooked, the cat will push out.
