This box has many nice details. The expandable sides are a big plus, as they allow the dog to move around a bit and, for example, work on a food project. I never tried to fly with this, though, so I can't tell how they work in a plane. I like that it has openings on both ends which helps train the dog to the box. This is also convenient if your dog is at the higher end of the weight scale and can't that smoothly turn around in the box as this way he can get in from one end and out from the other. The only downside to this box is that the quality isn't great. The "bones" holding it together started coming out and piercing a hole in the mesh only after a couple of days of use. For the full disclosure, my dog is about 15.5 lbs, so he is slightly above the recommended weight for this carrier. If your pet is at the smaller end of the weight scale, you are probably totally fine. It has one pocket on the side. I also like how the top opening opens on the side so it doesn't get in the way even if you keep it open. The sherpa lining is removable and washable, which is also a big plus. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I wanted a carrier that made my dog feel comfortable. This one has enough space for her to be comfortable during a long flight. It’s literally like a mini house 😂 love it

This is so much nicer than the big crate that I was using to haul my cat around. It is a nice size and I like how the sides open up to make it even larger. My cat is 16 pounds and it is plenty big even without opening up the sides but I like how it stores flat in my garage in between trips. It is very well made too. This pet carrier looks like the description, but has such a remarkably heavy petroleum odor that it seems like a health hazard and it definitely wouldn't be tolerable in my car. I've unboxed and unbagged the carrier over 4 days ago and it still reeks. I'm someone with allergies, so I usually don't smell very much of anything, but this is a new level of horrible. I've been in the touch with the seller (or at least the Ai bot) about what to do or how to clean it, but was warned that the carrier would lose shape if I did. I threw away the box when it arrived but I wish I hadn't so I could return it. I would not buy it again and I can't recommend anything for a pet that smells this toxic and can't be washed. ... show more
