I've had a similar carrier to this one for years (I'd still have it, but I helped rescue a stray cat and the cat liked using it as a den so much I let his new owner keep it), so I was relatively sure I'd like this one, and I definitely do. It collapses flat very easily, which is great for storage in a the shoebox that passes for my apartment. There are mesh 'windows' on the front and back, as well as on one side, so a cat or small dog can see what's going on all around but still have a "wall" to turn towards if they want to not see what's going on outside. My old one was open on all sides, which could make my very highly-strung cat nervous at times. This one seems a little less stressful for her. It can open in the front, back, side, and top, so plenty of ways in and out. There is a handle to hold it by, or a shoulder strap to carry it more like a purse or bag. So it's pretty versatile that way. Because the sides aren't hard plastic, this is completely inappropriate if you're checking your pet at the flight counter, but it's fine for carry-on use, or driving with a pet. And when traveling, it offers plenty of spots to reach inside and give your kitty or pup soothing pets. The insert makes the bottom and the closed-off side soft to the touch. Only downside is that it had a bit of a funny smell when I took it out of the shipping plastic, but that faded within about 30 minutes. After that, my cat Sophie didn't seem to notice anything, and she's usually pretty tetchy about that kind of thing. I really like this carrier and, at present, it's sitting in a corner covered in a blanket, and Princess Sophie prefers it to her $70 cat ottoman lol.

The Groxkox is a great carrier for small to medium sized cats and small dogs. I'm a dog person, so I checked it out with my cat-loving friend. Her cat weighs 10 pounds and he still had space to turn around. He went in by himself which she thought was a miracle. She had always used the old style hard carrier case and if he heard her getting it out, he'd run and hide and capturing him definitely added to the stress of travel. This carrier has vents on 3 sides that allow for a view and easy breathing, with one side blocked by soft padding. That's good if you have a nervous kitty who wants to shut out the surroundings. She liked the several zippers that allow for different entry points and make the carrier easy to use. There are extra outside pockets for toys or snacks if you're going farther than the vet. This carrier is airline approved, a manageable weight, and easy to carry with sturdy hand or shoulder straps. It's a big improvement over old style hard cases and we would definitely recommend it. So, we think, would her cat.

This carrier is much more like I was used to in the past compared to another I ordered with removable wheel base! There are no weird unexplained clips or straps on this carrier and it’s solid and a good size for kitty or small pup! Very satisfied! Do wish bottom was softer than a hard board in zipper bottom- but this may be part of TSA requirements! ? I can surely add something softer inside there or over the top too… many places to access and REALLY like the end where you can open the little flap for them to peek out without fear of getting out- they can’t push it any further 😉

Excellent cat carrier! Not huge, so if you have an oversized cat, maybe look elsewhere but it’s absolutely perfect for my fur ball. Tons of access points to be able to reach in and pet your pet, lots of solid mesh so they get fresh air and you can be sure to keep an eye on ‘em. Light weight but solid construction. The mat inside velcros in place, and absolutely best of all?? Unzips and folds down totally flat so it takes up like.. not even half the space as my hard plastic one! Yay for being able to ditch the hard plastic one!! As nice as the little plastic backed pad is, I’ll probably still line it with a puppy pad and towel cause after having my old cat get motion sick.. yeah not taking any chances lol oh and the added extra zippered pouches are great to put treats, toys and other small supplies in. Anyway- super solid construction and super pretty to look at. Highly recommended.

My cat went in there herself 😂 I left it opened on the floor and she just went in. Regardless, I like the product! It’s very sturdy and there are multiple zipper openings. The color is cute and you have the option to attach a longer strap (adjustable!) It seems cozy inside. There is a removable soft lining that you can attach inside with the velcrows. The carrier IS on the smaller side, but I intended this to be use for shorter travels only. I have another carrier that resembles a cave made with hard plastic, but that one is super heavy. I think it’s good to have both options! My cat weighs 12 pounds. She’s a little thick, but she fits in there just right!

It says it can hold cats up to 15 pounds. My cat is 12 pounds and it’s too small for her. I think she hates enclosed spaces. She wasn’t comfortable at all in it.

This airline approved pet carrier by Groxkox is the greatest ever. I've had many pet carriers through the years, but none could ever compare to this one. It is extremely versatile and very well made. It's designed to be able to fit underneath a plane seat, but certainly not limited to just that one option. It is simple to assemble with a sturdy metal frame design, but is also made with a soft mesh material which makes it able to stand upright or horizontally as well. The mesh makes the carrier very breathable so pet stays comfortable ( there is a soft cushion pad to rest on). There are 4 entry ways to open and the zippers are easy to open and close. There is also a little disposable bag and reflective tape included. You can be assured your pet will be comfy and safe when using this pet carrier . It also has a hand holding set as well as shoulder strap. This is a plus10 pet carrier and I recommend it.
