Hazel is around 18-20lbs (don’t judge her lol) As soon as zipped it together, I put her inside. She stayed in it by herself and even took a nap. The strap is strong and it has a shoulder cushion so it makes it comfortable to carry. Love this carrier and I recommended it to my family as soon as I received it :)

I love the size of the end doors. It made it so easy to gently persuade my cat into the carrier. I thought I was probably going to need the top door to get her in but thankfully I didn't. I am also glad the shoulder strap is long enough to use as an anchor over the head rest on my back seats so I can secure her in the storage area in my SUV. I really am pleased with this product so far. I've only used it once but it is definitely worth the cost.

I used it to take my cat to the vet. He is a 20+lbs cat. He fit comfortably in it. The padding at the bottom of it is soft. Folds down easily for storage. Seems easy to clean.

My cat seems to like this. If you have a cat you know some carriers can be a struggle but she really had no issues being placed in here and being able to see all around her kept her calm.

It doesn’t stand on its own, and is too small for either of my cats. They are uncomfortable in it as the bottom is not very sturdy when carrying it. My one cat is 12 pounds and very long and he is scrunched up in it.

My scaredy cat hates going in the hard plastic carrier so I was looking for a soft one, thinking she’d like that better. I bought three because I couldn’t decide which one I liked best. This one is going back. It does have some good features but the fact that it won’t stand on its own without both ends zipped almost completely closed can’t be overcome by it’s good qualities. I had thought I’d leave it on the floor with all the openings open and see if my cat would go in it on her own, but without the ends you’re left with only the top (good sized) opening and a small one on the side (the side opening is about the size of the door on a typical plastic carrier, but the other two I bought have much bigger side openings which seem so much more useful). If it would stand up with even one end unzipped it’s otherwise really nice. It’s a decent size, not the biggest, but not the smallest either, seems to be decent quality materials and construction, and the removable mat in really soft and velcros down (frankly I don’t like the Velcro because it’s unnecessary and makes it a little harder to get the mat in the right place, but some people might like it). Since I’m sending it back, I didn’t try carrying a cat in it, but the PVC inside the mat seems too flimsy to hold my fat (16lb) cat without bending despite it saying it’s good for up to 16lbs. If your cat is lighter than mine and you’re going to put him/her in through the top, this is a good carrier for the price. I just couldn’t give it more than three stars since it doesn’t work for me at all.
