So, I barely had time to set this up before my Tuxy ran into it and claimed this "fancy box" as hers. It's a great little cat house and a good buy. Inside is very soft and warm, which is comforting for her joints as she's a little senior. This cat house is awesome. It was super easy to put together. Just had to put the top pad on. The rest just folded out. The pad has a removable cover that you can wash. It’s very sturdy and I think it will last! My cats instantly loved it

We have a one year old calico cat who has already picked her favorite napping and hangout spots (like sunny window sills and tops of bookshelves) so when we assembled this and showed it to her she looked at us like, "what do you expect me to do?" She's a highly intelligent animal but like most cats, she doesn't like to do things unless it's her idea. So I had to put some treats in the house and call to her to get her in it. She went in, ate them, sat for a couple minutes and then hopped out. It's soft, sturdy and a good idea but we have yet to see how much she'll use it. Might help to introduce this to a cat when you first get the cat. But I'll update the review overtime. Still it's a clever design and worth buying. ... show more

I bought this for my two cats thinking they might enjoy it. Almost all day you can find one of them sleeping on top of or inside it. They are average sized cats and have room to spare. They could probably both fit in it if they snuggled. They haven’t seemed to notice or use the scratching pad, but do occasionally scratch the inside walls. I gave the sturdiness rating four states as it is just heavier cardboard and I am not sure how long it will last. I a,so gave 4 stars for the weatherproof. I found this confusing as I would not use this outside. It would not be rain or snow proof and it clearly has an opening for wind and water. I have purchased other pet beds in the past and for whatever reason, they were not used. This one is a true winner. Highly recommend! ... show more
