Call me old fashioned, but hokey wireless connections are no match for a good ethernet cable at your side. I live in a long apartment where I am physically at the back end of the living area—and the WiFi router is at the front. With all the walls between here and there, WiFi signal doesn't travel so great, and I consistently get slower speeds and lots of lag and Zoom freezes. That ends today. Thanks to this 50 foot long ethernet cable, I can run it from my room to the router no problem—with room to spare! My roommates didn't mind me running it along the floor (secured with lots of clear tape) and I'm in business! I'll be moving in a few months anyways but a 50 foot ethernet cable with a nice color (that isn't too bright or flashy) and quality speeds is something I'm gonna be carrying along no matter where I live. I am thoroughly impressed with the thickness and perceived durability of the braided cable. Add to that this cable is much more flexible around curves than a standard rubber coated Ethernet cable. I have used the cable for 3 days and we can definitely see a faster connection over what we replaced. The speed test shows a 15-20% improvement. These are a great replacement for rounded cables, especially if you need to run across a floor. Speed checked out as well so these are great for the price.
