They do the job. The only improvement I think is needed is the edge should be wider to allow for easier grasping and holding of the weight. I always feel like I can't grip it well and might drop it when I'm moving it or loading the bar. Otherwise, I'm happy with them. Beware of the packaging though... they come wrapped in plastic stacked one on top of the other in a flimsy cardboard box with those plastic straps around one side of the box. I ordered 3 different weights and by the time they arrived they were all barely in the box. They slip and slide on each other and destroy the box. One shipment arrived with the side of the box open so they weights were not contained at all. They'd be better if they were packed in a box fitted with Styrofoam to protect them. After one shipping damage mishap that was returned to sender by the carrier and refunded, I receive all three sizes intact despite the poor condition of the packaging. Give credit to the carriers for "keeping it all together"! ... show more
