I am a side sleeper and this offers good neck support. Couldn't feel the cooling aspect until I took off the provided protection cover and used just a cotton pillow case. Still think it is a bit pricey but I like it

TL;DR: Not worth the money I’ve had quite a few cooling pillows and, while not the worst, this is also not the best in my experience. First, I had to take the cover off. It was ridiculously thick, thereby negating any cooling effect that I could feel. With the cover removed, the cooling sensation is noticeable when laying your head on it and it lasts for a minute or so. On the bright side, when the cooling feeling completely dissipates, the pillow doesn’t feel hot like some others. Having to lay on it without the cover makes it less comfortable because of the encasing material. Other than that, I’d rate the support and comfort as mediocre as well. Not worth the money in my opinion, maybe if it was about 33%-50% less. ... show more

Got this pillow as a birthday present for my wife, because she's been asking about these. First night, she said she would flip it over and be cold. All night long. She frickin loved it. Other pillows get warm fast, and she said this one does not.

I have Casper snow mattress. I thought the pillow will be like the mattress but it wasn't. It feel like the Casper original pillow. It was not cold to the touch. Very disappointed.

Its a bit pricey however when it comes to sleep quality im glad to pay for name brand. No tossing or turning to escape to the cold side of the pillow. I am very disappointed with this product. I write a lot of reviews and give credit where credit is due. I wish credit was due here. I bought this as a gift for my wife. She slept on it for a few nights and finally stated that it never cools and is hot instead. And so I tried it and found the same thing. I bought an inexpensive cooling pillow from Costco and we both found that one to cool a little bit and it isn’t hot. I’m summary, you don’t always get what you pay for and at $100, this pillow does not deliver. It’s supportive and it seems well made, which is why I give it two stars.     • I Hated Foam Pillows Before This One!

I despise foam pillows. I’ve never found them comfortable. Full disclosure: I own a Casper Original pillow, but I don’t love that one either. That’s a review for another time. I was looking into their new hybrid pillow before picking this one up. While I’m not completely sold on foam pillows, this one is okay; it’s much better than my Original Casper Pillow one. As a back sleeper, I enjoy having a medium firmness pillow that supports my head as I shift a little to the left and right. I also run a little hot at night, so I prefer cooler pillows. I was excited to hear that this snow pillow had cooling capabilities. My partner uses the original foam pillow from Casper; I can say from touching both of them in the morning, this one does what it claims. The original foam pillow is also firmer than this one. If this is your first foam pillow from Casper, this is not your typical soft foam tempur-pedic soft pillow. Expect a heavy dense foam that compresses just enough to feel comfortable. The pillow itself weighs around 5lbs. My first night of sleep was horrendous. I couldn’t sleep at all. I know pillows usually require a break-in period, so I continued to give it a shot. I was honestly tempted to switch back to my regular pillow. Luckily, by day three, it was much better. The center got softer so I could plant my head firmly in the center. I was also able to comfortably turn my head to the left/right, feeling supported. One thing I hate about foam pillows is that you can't really wash them. You can wash the cover, but the core can't be cleaned. One advantage would be that it doesn't need fluffing. My partner's original Casper foam pillow has been holding up the same for the last two years, so I suspect this one will have no problem retaining its shape and holding up all the same. Overall, this is going to be a premium pillow purchase, but you can expect to be using this one for many years to come. I'll report back if I end up moving away from this pillow. I'm still trying to find my perfect pillow. TLDR: Back sleeper that hates foam pillows, but this one is pretty good. I’m willing to give foam pillows a try now in the future. ... show more
