I wanted a non-fancy looking, purely functional watch that I could wear every day and with every outfit. This fits that description perfectly, and I got all the things I wanted without spending a whole lot. I've had this watch for about a month now, it works just fine and it's comfortable to wear. I was worried that I would have to venture into men's watches to find something that worked for me and suited my needs, but this is great, especially since I have relatively small wrists. I always had to wear my old watch (women's) on the tightest or second tightest hole, but here I usually use the holes in the middle. This will work great for women, kids, men, whoever would like a plain black watch that doesn't cost a whole lot and doesn't have huge wrists. 10/10 would recommend. I will probably buy this same one again when it breaks, unless it doesn't last very long. I anticipate it lasting me a few years since the band is pretty durable. ... show more

The watch itself is nice, especially for low price. The band is more like a semi stiff plastic. I thought it was going to be soft like silicone bands. The little strap you tuck the excess band into pinched my arm once, and to have the band tight enough to not keep shifting watch around my wrist isn't comfortable. I ordered a few elastic replacement bands. I got the wrong size because it listed the width of band as 20mm. But the size you need to make it fit is 16mm. The band pins on this casio's band connectionis kind of hard to open. I used a paper clip to push the spring pin in (hard to get it to go) , and pull the band off at same time. The pin things on this are just straight. Others I've used, including the replacement/ replacement bands I'm using have a kind of knobby thing attached that you can use to push in the spring activated pin. Much simpler. The elastic replacement band looks better than original and is way more comfortable. So, to sum up... watch itself if is great. It did come with battery already operating, so I hope battery lasts a while, but no biggie. While the actual watch is easy to read and the perfect size, the band that included is not great. A replacement elastic band (with 16mm size connection) makes the watch a 5/5. If it had been more expensive I would've been annoyed at having to get hew bands. But it's cheap and with new band it doesn't look cheap. So far its keeping time accurately. I also like that it's water resistant. The only negative I've found is the sub-par band, but new one can be gotten really cheap. Nice basic analog watch with a second hand, at a low price. ... show more

Such a good purchase. I don't wear analog watches pretty much ever, I have a Fitbit and use my phone, so when I found out I had to use an analog watch for the bar exam, I needed to find something cheap but functional really quickly. This watch was my saving grace. It's simple, easy to read, the fit and size of it are great, and you can easily use the band to prop it up on a table. The battery that comes in this thing is great, I used it for all three months of bar prep and never had any issues with it dying or needing a new one, and months later the time is still correct on it. Don't be fooled by the cheap price, this watch is a winner! ... show more

The battery in my Apple Watch needed to be replaced after 4 years of use. In order to do that, the watch needed to be sent in to Apple. I quickly discovered that I could not live for several days without a watch! This Casio watch appeared to have exactly what I needed for only $15! And Amazon delivered it to me the next day. I have to admit that I did like being able to just look down at this watch and could see the time without having to tap it to see the time. It was very easy to see the face and the hands. There is nothing I dislike about this watch. It is super light weight and the dial is very clear and easy to read. I have a very small wrist and this watch fits perfectly without having to add an additional hole in the band. There is no leather anywhere which, for me, is a plus. It also has a second hand which was not mentioned in the write-up. The instructions detailing how to set it are clear. I'm delighted with it. (I actually bought it as a back-up for my other watch but I like this one so much that I have only used this one since it arrived.) Note: I have now purchased three of these watches. This is my favorite watch. It is simple. It works great. Ive had it for over a year now without any issues. I have a few watches but I always find myself wearing this one. It goes with everything, it's easy to read. I feel naked without it. The price is great. I've looked into getting more expensive ones that have a leather strap and look a little nicer but if it ain't broke don't fix it. I like this watch because its nice and simple. It's an okay watch. When I first got it and tried it on, it felt like those cheap, plastic knock-offs. I thought it would break easily if I bend it some certain way (I didn't dare to because I really liked the design). You'd think the strap would be made of thick, durable plastic, but it looks like it breaks easy. It feels like one of those cheap plastic watches you buy from a kid's meal (and I bet even those are more durable than this). The pro is that it's really, really lightweight, and it's very thin. I can't feel it when I wear it, even if it's tight on my wrist. It's silent (unless you put it against your ear then you hear them little ticks). Changing time is very easy (if you have tiny fingers). It's stylish, minimal, and chic. Overall, it's really an okay watch, and not for excessive use, especially if you have a job that has your wrist bump and pulled constantly. I know people buying this watch are probably nursing students (because I bought for nursing purposes too), and I would like to recommend this for them, but you guys are the captain of your ship. Just make sure that, if you use this watch for work, keep your wrist from bumping into really hard solid objects or prevent your watch from being pulled to the limit. Everything about this watch is cheap plastic (well of course, it's only $12). Even if you did buy it and didn't like, I wouldn't even recommend returning. For light use only! ... show more
