**Review of Casio W-736H-1AV (W737HX series)** **Features:** ✔ **Rugged and durable** - Casio is known for its rugged watches, and the W-736H is no exception. The shock-resistant plastic case and mineral crystal stand up to everyday use. ✔ **Wearability** - Lightweight (only 47g) and compact, the resin strap doesn't chafe your skin. ✔ **Functionality** - everything you need: digital display, stopwatch (accurate to 1/100th of a second), countdown timer, alarm, calendar and backlight (Electroluminescent). ✔ **Water resistance 100 meters (10 bar)** - can be swum and dived, but not for professional diving. ✔ **Affordable price** - great value for money for a sports watch. **Disadvantages:** ✖ **Simple design** - looks like a typical Kasik digital watch without frills, not suitable for everyone. ✖ **Backlight** - EL-backlight is uniform, but not as bright as LED, and requires pressing a button (no auto-backlight). ✖ **No Bluetooth and synchronization** - purely analog-digital model without "smart" functions. **Summary:** Casio W-736H-1AV is a proven, unpretentious watch for sports, outdoor activities and everyday wear. The media could not be loaded. So overall I am happy with the functionality and look of the watches, but the build quality at the band connection point is inexcusably bad. We purchased 30 of these watches for use in outdoor activities, and already we've had a few people have the watch fail at the band connection point. Note that the band and spring components did not fail, but rather the plastic housing of the watch broke. This has made the watch unusable as you can't even connect a new band as we would do if the watch band had failed. Would avoid if you plan on using this watch for anything other than office timekeeping. It's a Shane because it is labeled as an outdoor sports watch, but I've never seen any sports watch fail like this, especially not a Casio. ... show more
