  • A dependable watch, you don't have to worry about.
It's kinda funny how a cheap Luminox knockoff can be more impressive than the real thing. I bought a Luminox Blue Colormark for $250 but when I got it out of the box, it felt like a $20 POS. I had it for about 4 months and two tritium tubes dislodged and were floating around in the case. Then the second hand got stuck on one of the dislodged tubes and quit moving. The next day, the second hand fell off. The warranty issue was worse than the watch. I gave up and tried to take the watch apart and fix it myself but just ended up destroying the whole thing. So I saw these watches on line and the reviews were great. So I bought a yellow one. I've worn it for about a year and beat the crap out of it. It still looks just fine. I just bought the blue one which is sharp. I have a large collection of watches ranging from several hundred $$$, down to these $20 ones. These get the most wrist time. I wear them everywhere. I work midnights and have no problems reading them in the dark. I have a job that can be very physically demanding at times and these watches hold up well. I was actually disappointed in the lume on the Luminox anyways. It wasn't nearly as bright as i thought it would be. I put both these watches on different bands and they look great. I've read some reviewers mention that they're too small but as you can see, next to a Seiko Monster and Casio Gravity Master, they're not that much different. Anything bigger than 43mm starts to look dumb. I've also read, these are either kids or women's watches. Whatever. Most of the time, you get what you pay for. But every once in a while, something surprises you. ... show more

  • Great Casio analog watch with day and date
This watch was in my cart for several months and one day it dropped from twenty-five dollars to four dollars. I immediately grabbed it and the next day it was back to twenty-five dollars. I knew the watch was good, as I have another in a different color. The battery had died, but it was easily replaceable as it has four screws to remove on the back. I really have no idea how Casio or Amazon made money selling this for so cheap, but I guess it keeps customers coming back for those rare deals. It has no light, but the hour and minute hand light up briefly in the dark, as well as the tip of the second hand. Not sure for how long though. Sadly, Casio does not have the Timex Indiglo technology, which would be perfect for these watches. Maybe that patent will expire some day and Casio could add it to these great watches. ... show more

  • meh
This is one of those times where you make an assumption about something and it bites you. I didn't check to see if this watch had a light. It doesn't. I bought it so that I wouldn't have to lug my phone around at night checking the time while doing the pre-trip on my truck arrive/depart times and noting down the times customers request changes. One other thing to note is that the crystal is flush with the bezel so it is a bit easier to scratch than had the bezel been raised from the crystal a few mm. Other than that it's a good looking watch and feels reasonably constructed for the 20 USD price. Nice size on my larger than average wrist. Wife says it looks too small but I am not a fan of oversize watch faces so this is more of a traditionally sized watch. ... show more

  • The best buy for shallow water sports
The Casio 200 is the ideal wattch for water sports...takes a lickin and keeps on tickin. Advertised for 100 feet. That is no B>S> but because of its two way bezel it should never be used with tanks. Great for exploring shallow water reefs, kayaking, surfing etc.. If you are going to scuba Casio has a a very good nock off of a submariner by Rolex for about $50. . Made in China by Casio ...but so are the cases for the multi thousand dollar Rolexs made in China ..company named Sea Gull. The Swiss don't mention that.. The best Casio 200 for reading in water is the black one with white numbers... Hard to beat a bargin like this. ... show more

  • great watch for the price point
I've had my watch for about 8 months now. I love the size and look of the watch. It keeps time well enough for a $16 watch. I found that it lost about a minute over the span of 5 or 6 months. I do wish the watch had Lum or a light function but again we are talking about a $16 watch. The hands are SLIGHTLY glow in the dark but its so weak its almost worthless. You can get it to be bright... If you blast it with a bright flashlight or hold it up to a light bulb, but at that point you don't need the glow because you have a light source. Just in case it matters to you the numbers on the colored versions do not glow, you have to get the white version for that. I absolutely love the rotating bezel. It's one of the most important features of the watch to me. In fact I wouldn't buy a analog watch without it unless is had some other easy way to time stuff. I need to be able to time things like how long I've been running and whatnot. That being said there have been times recently when the bezel is nearly inoperable without taking the watch off to use both hands. But i think that was my fault for getting bug spray on it and getting it sticky. It actually just loosened back up to normal as I'm writing this review. As I'm sure you can imagine at this price point the glass isn't glass, its plastic. And it scratches and scuffs pretty easily. Especially sense its flush with the top of the watch. I really wish Casio made a watch exactly like this but higher quality because I'd buy it in a second. But this is for sure a great looking, light weight, and functional throw away watch. Use it for a couple years until the battery runs out and pitch it in the garbage. It's not like exactly a family heirloom. Wish I had got the orange or green instead of the blue but that's personal preference. I have trouble seeing the blue in some light since I have mild blue-yellow color blindness. ... show more

  • Great, inexpensive, dependable and light weight.
Exactly what I wanted. An inexpensive dependable and lightweight watch. Perfect for work. Not to big and clunky. I work outside and with my hands. No big deal if the watch gets destroyed. It’s a great price and very comfortable to wear all day. I have bigger more expensive watches but I end up taking them off in confined space and trying to protect them from damage. This watch is accurate, easy to read and a great all-round work watch. Buy it ! You’ll wear it ! ... show more
