  • great watch, especially for the price
Watch works well, and most importantly keeps track of time efficiently. Have had the watch for over 4 months now, have worn it daily, and hasn't failed me, just a single quick adjustment by roughly 5 minutes every month or so. also adjusting is not difficult at all. It's quite light and is comfortable to me, so i often will forget it's on my wrist when concentrating on something. I haven't had any issues trying to keep it on or taking it off my wrist Ive heard some people complain about how small it is, and it does appear to be a bit smaller than other watches Ive seen, but i have no issue with mine due to my relatively small wrists (about 7 inches around), and i have mine clipped in the middle-most notch when wearing it Its fairly easy to read the 12-hour numbers, but don't expect glow in the dark, its just metallic (which is what i was looking for so no complaints), and when i would be out at night i would need to wait to get closer to the street lighting to see. the 24-hour numbers though are quite small and faint, so don't expect to really read them in relatively dark conditions (wasn't a big deal to me). Ticking of watch is completely unnoticeable and have to put close to the ear just to hear said ticking ... show more

  • Great Watch
Lightweight, much smaller than I thought (in a good way), and comfortable. The resin band is not stiff at all. I use it for nursing clinicals and I love the red military times. Excellent watch.

  • Great cheap watch
I love this watch. I've had it for a year and wear it everyday, but it was originally bought for kayaking trips. It's been splashed on and dunked more times than I can count, with no issues. The accuracy is close enough, other than time changes I haven't had to adjust anything as it remains within maybe 10sec from the actual time I sync it to. It's a great timepiece for $10-15, nothing fancy, just shows you the time (and direction, if you point the hour hand to the sun, South is halfway between the hour hand and 12:00, just a little outdoors tip). Being so cheap, I won't cry if it breaks, but it has perfectly served its purpose. Update: After just about a year of heavy usage, which included a dozen kayak or camping trips, swimming with it in rivers, bashing it on rocks, getting bug spray on the glass, and many other abuses, the watch finally gave out on me and stopped working. To be honest, I intentionally put this through the ringer to see what it could handle, and I'm still pleased. How am I going to fix this situation? Easy, I'll just buy another one for $12! I'll still spend less in ten years than I would on one primo watch that I'd be constantly worried about breaking. Pretty much the same argument we have at work about Snap-On tools vs. cheap cash register impulse-buy tools for $3. ... show more

  • Excellent watch: looks great and keeps accurate time, but red numbers are small
Every couple of years I purchase a new Casio watch on Amazon, because that's more convenient and cost effective than paying to have someone replace the battery. I purchase a slightly different model every time. They all keep accurate time, as expected for a battery-powered quartz watch. This is the third such watch that I've purchased, and I have been wearing this one for four months now. This looks excellent, and the plastic band is barely distinguishable to other people from any other more expensive material. I even have received one or two unsolicited compliments on these Casio watches. I have not tested the water resistance, but I am giving this five stars for water resistance because water has never been a problem under normal circumstances, such as rain, humidity, or splashes from washing my hands; note that this watch may not be waterproof. I am giving this particular model only four stars instead of five because the red numbers are so small that on the black face they are barely legible from a normal watch-viewing distance, unless perhaps you have excellent vision. Next time I will purchase a Casio watch very similar to this, but probably not this exact model. ... show more

  • Defective Watch, but great service
Must have gotten unlucky with mine, because it stopped working one night about a week and a half after it arrived. That being said, the customer service was phenomenal--they were willing to replace the watch if I was willing to go into an "Amazon return location". They even offered a full refund without me actually returning the watch(which was the option I went with, I'll explain why in a minute). I never really tested the water resistance feature, because I didn't have time to, but it seemed okay I guess(?) The watch itself is basically what you pay for(which is why this is a four star review). It's has a small wrist band and is so small it almost seems flimsy. So personally, I'd rather spend a little bit more to have a better quality watch. I'd recommend this especially for a kid who's never had a watch before--especially if you want to teach them how to tell time ... show more

  • Casio watch. Dependable. Very satisfied
I've had a Casio brand watch for years. Only issue usually is the battery. Once the back is removed to change it the water resistance is shot. I guess in 2 years I'll order another.
