**Check out the other colors(all separate product listings), it comes in a red, black, silver or gold face, SEARCH> "Casio MW 600F" and they will all come up!** If you need a sporty looking timepiece that you don't want to babysit, guard and protect, then this is it! The size is perfect(not too big or too small) and it has a tasteful stylish sporty design that isn't too busy with detail. The date box is a good size and easy to see, plus the illuminated hands hold a good lasting charge off ambient light. The watch is very light in weight and has a super comfy resin band. I find this watch impossible to beat at its price point considering it's fit, finish and function. I am thankful that Casio has not discontinued this model and I have owned 4 of them in the last 10yrs or so(I usually lose them and just buy another!). I have swam with them a couple of times as well as inadvertently exposing them to water both fishing and working and I never had a condensation problem! (*the crystal does scratch easier than more expensive watches but you can't have everything!) This watch is exactly what I expected. I wanted a very light and rather small to average size watch to wear daily, specifically in the winter when typically I wear layers and heavier jackets. I wanted an analog rather than digital watch and one that had at least the date. This watch fits the bill and is a typical Casio design. No way to know if the battery will last ten years, I'm not even sure the watch would last that long, although I have had other Casio watches for 10 years or more. The date can be seen ok, but not great and is small if you need reading glasses. As with any inexpensive watch the luminescence does not last long. But the time is easy to read, and for the most part the second hand is right on the mark. It is slightly off on the upper hours (9-12) but is generally good for this price point. I have no idea as to the accuracy, but then even if it is a few seconds per day, does not concern me ever. The band is fairly soft and comfortable. The back is metal and screws (4) hold the back should you ever need to change the battery. Have not used in water, but claims to be 100m WR which I would have no issues swimming with. I have generally seen Casio prices on Amazon better than anywhere else so if you plan to get one, might look here first. ... show more

This is a good basic watch for the price, and so far, it has worked well. I wear it daily including working in the yard and in the pool. The one thing I don't like about it is the band. I have a small wrist, and I usually have it at the 2nd or 3rd hole to the end of the band. So if you have an average or large wrist, it may not fit you. The band is not very flexible and has a cheap, plastic feel. If the watch had a different band, I would probably have given it a 5 star review. ... show more

I have only had this watch for a couple months now. So I can't comment on it's overall longevity yet. I will start this off by saying I am NOT a fan of wearing any watches in general. I am in nursing school and a watch with a second hand is a must. I made it my first year in school with a clip on watch where I'd clip it on the bottom of my scrub top. I thought I liked it at first, but it was more of a hassle than I thought it would be. SO I broke down and researched many many watches. I wanted something that was inexpensive, but still basic and comfortable. Being water resistant is a must due to frequent hand washing. I thought this would be a little tight based on other reviews but I rolled the dice any way. I am male, 6 foot tall, about 200lbs, average build, and I don't find this too tight. There are still a few holes to choose from on the band to adjust for comfort, yet not too much left over to stick out. This watch is very simplistic, second hand is a must, the white areas on the face glow in the dark, and it's very easy to clean. So far I have not been very abusive to this watch yet, so I don't know how long it will remain scratch free on the plastic faceplate. Time will tell.     • Nice looking, reasonably durable sport watch but NOT for big wrists

I bought this Casio MW600F-1AV to replace a really old Casio sports watch that I've had for a lonnnnnnng time. The old Casio finally just quit on me and the buttons would not work anymore. I decided I wanted a somewhat rugged sport watch but with an Analog display. I had no need for lap functions, timers, stopwatches, etc. All I wanted was a durable, inexpensive watch that keeps good time and has a legible face. Well, I found exactly that in this watch. I actually think it is a very attractive design. The watch band is resin and a bit stiff, but not uncomfortable. It will not fit a large wrist though so if in doubt whether this will fit you, measure your wrist. If the circumfrance of your wrist is greater than 8.5 inches, you will need a different watch band. This will only adjust up to 8.5 inches. There is nothing I do not like about this watch. The sweep second hand is just what I wanted. The calendar window is large enough to be seen and the hands glow in the dark quite well, at least for a while. The numbers don't glow much but that's not very important to me anyway. ➤ 10 Year Battery ➤ 100M Water Resistant ➤ 3-Hand Analog ➤ Accuracy: +/-20 seconds per month ➤ Battery CR2012 ➤ Approx. battery life: 10 years It keeps decent time, it's light in weight and is water-resistant to 330 feet (100 M).     • Works, tells time, accurately...but scuffs easily.
This watch is cheap, it also looks nice. I purchased it because I'm at A&M and the metro came out in me, wanting to match my school colors I guess. I don't wear s***ty school shirts or hats, this watch is suffice enough. The reason for three stars, the clear face-plate scuffs...very easily. I've only had the watch 3-4 months now, and only wear it to school...easier to check the time on my watch than my phone. In the course of those 3-4 months, the face-plate is all scuffed up. Is it that big of a deal...no, but they could have used a material more suitable to wear and tear. I wouldn't give it any less than three stars, if I wanted a rugged watch I'd get a g-shock. Positives: It tells time, accurately, without needed corrections. I've used it without fail for close to 4 months now, and I don't see me not using it anytime in the near future. ... show more

The clunky hands are that way to show up in the dark. They're highly phosphorescent and different from each other so it's possible to tell time from them alone. The face marks are weakly phosphorescent and too small to be seen easily (in the dark—they show up well in light because they're highly reflective on a nearly black ground), and the luminous spots on 12, 6 & 9 are unintelligible (except to tell them apart, which just orients you to 12). Honestly, the 3 ugly numerals and absence of any but those 3 almost deterred me from buying what's otherwise a great watch, and I still think they're its weak link. A decent font would have made this a handsome watch. However, these work and everything else seems terrific. The yellow second hand stands out (and counting seconds is important to me), a bezel guard is important to me, light weight and modest size are important to me, genuine waterproofness is important to me, mineral glass is important to me… the list goes on. Bonus is that, tough as this watch is, the band doesn't pretend to be a dive-watch band, it pretends to be a leather dress band, meaning it has a subtle texture instead of pointless ribs and fake rivets. It's a typically excellent Casio analog watch in an atypically unobtrusive form factor, with second-tier durability, laudable simplicity and outstanding battery life. If it’s good enough for Agent Maggie Bell, it’s good enough for me. This is a cute watch that fits just fine on my 6” wrist. I am female but like the slightly oversized look but I can definitely see how some some men would find this watch face too small for an average man’s wrist. Most men’s watches are far too big for me, but this one is perfect. It is lightweight, water resistant (good because I wash my hands constantly in healthcare) and it has a 10 yr battery.
