While this is a nice watch you will NOT be able to replace the battery yourself unless you are a jeweler/watchmaker. I 'had' the watch for almost 3 years when the battery died and took the back off the watch to replace the battery. The instruction manual says to take it to a professional to replace the battery...they are correct. Once inside the back of the watch you cannot get to the battery without disassembly of the insides of the watch...which I did not attempt as it appeared quite complex and fragile. Now it is inoperable unless I spend a $50 watchmaker labor minimum to have the battery replaced. That's not going to happen. Sorry I bought the watch without doing due diligence concerning battery replacement. ... show more
