Purchased over 1 month ago. Very happy with a $44 on sale watch from Casio with solar charging that is keeping accurate time. I have a good collection of watches, with a preference for solar/mechanical/automatic. Setting: followed a couple YouTube videos and had zero issues. Plug and play. After yard work, swimming, DIY projects, chainsaw cutting, line trimming, the gym, housework...No issues. Illumination of the hands is minimum but readable thru the night. Like the size. Not a fan of watches under 40mm. Would buy again in a different color. ... show more

Looks great! Unbelievable for the price, just don’t expect a fine watch. I own the previous version, which is also great. I just don’t especially like the way it looks. It looks like a watch for a little kid. This watch looks like it’s for a grown up. Great beater/travel watch. If you break it (not easy to do!), or if you lose it, it’s not the end of the world. Best cheap REAL watch out there. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because it’s a pain in the neck to set. It’s actually a 4 1/2. It’s not supposed to be a dress watch or a precision Swiss (or even Japanese) watch, but it’s worth way more than the price would suggest. ... show more

Love it and solid watch for the price. Only two cons, which are minimal, are: The white on black digital can be hard to read sometimes but I knew that coming in as that is a regular LCD issue. More stylistic vs functional. I wish the band was a little smaller. I don't feel like I have tiny wrists but I'm on the 3rd smallest hole with this one and the strap comes back almost all the way around. Strap can always be replaced though. ... show more

Great watch for casual wear. The sand color goes well with many outfits. Im glad I bought it, yet my wife didnt at first. She didn't like the sand color at first, but now likes it now that she see's it goes well with deferent shirts. On another note, this Casio has a similar functionality as a G Shock and I love the Tough Solar. Plus this watch seems to be more durable than my Timex that used to work. Caution: just don't go crazy with it because it has resin glass instead of mineral. Overall, great watch for the budget ... show more

I do own 2 other Casio watches, and I do like them, rugged, tough, look nice. But I Cheap'd out buying this one as it was Solar powered, was curious and wanted to try it out. I'm sure the solar charging works (?) just fine? Idk. Cuz this really is a case of "you get what you pay for", it is cheap, it is very plasticky, and the band and clasp is also plastic, maybe the worst band I've ever had come on a watch. Sad. Mistake #2 was beleaving the description when it says the watch uses a 22 mm. watch band. It Does not, incorrect info. It takes an 18 mm. But I am not going to buy one for it now, as it bothers me that the Band would be more expensive, better built and more useful than the actual watch is. Also, If your eyesight is not the greatest or maybe you're older with slight vision problems, good luck trying to read the time or date at night with the tiny little window at the bottom, which is the only thing that lights up in the dark. That's right, the rest of the watch face is pitch Black except for that tiny window at the bottom.. Not easy to see with sleepy eyes, or in a dark car, or movie theater, etc.. Good luck!
