The quick and easy: This stand blends in well with the console, it is easy to install, and it is extremely durable and sturdy. I tested this stand myself by pressing on all four corners of the console, shaking the console, and shaking the surface which the console is resting on. First of all, with the grippy feet on this product, it was impossible to shake the console. I can't even say the console barely moved, because it just doesn't move at all with this stand attached to it. Previously, if I tried to move my PS5 to dust underneath it, the stock stand would sometimes slip off and I'd have to hook it back on. There should be no such issues with this stand. Also, the plastic used feels very tough and of high quality. It will probably last longer than the console itself. As for the negative reviews, I couldn't replicate any of the wobbliness or disc tray noise other customers had issues with. Yes, it is a little expensive. However, if you're looking for something simple and sturdy, there probably aren't many better options than this.

I’d like to repeat what I’ve seen in a few reviews, yes, the base that comes with the PS5 will allow you to place your system in a horizontal position. However, at least in my experience, it does a terrible job of it and is very unstable. I see nothing wrong with pointing out the shortcomings of an otherwise awesome system. The NexiGo stand is not perfect but it’s way better than what I started with. It makes the PS5 very stable in the horizontal position. I don’t exactly have any gripe with the product but on a personal note, I wish the stands clipped on to the PS5 instead of fitting loosely. Just me. Otherwise, I am very happy with this purchase. Although I said the stands fits loosely, it does the job of stabilizing the system. They slide on but are not snug. They do not fall off when plugging items into the PS5 the way the stand that came with the system did, every single time. Keep in mind that the NexiGo stand does not add any height to the unit. It holds it level and sturdy. If I had to choose between the NexiGo stand and the one that came with my system a second time, I would definitely make the purchase again. Just my two-cents. I hope it helps others to make a choice.

The stand works like a dream. My PS5 has never had more sure footing in the horizontal position . The stand works very well with the standard PS5 disc and non disc editions (horizontally) and it's easy to install. There is no more wobbly balancing act and worrying about it going to slide of the stock stand. Mine travels a lot with me and having seen that the stock stand tends to loose its grip this is now a thing of the past.

I love this stand for my ps5, since I upgraded from white cover to Stirling silver cover, the black stand looks much better, one advice is to keep the bottom part clean, dust and dirt sometimes get stuck and causes it to slide, to keep it stable, I used clorox wipes

The item description says it's for disc and digital, not slim PS5. The pictures show it's for disc and digital editons, NOT slim. The instructions tell you how to install it on a disc edition and digital edition - NOT THE SLIM. Reviews show pictures. Other reviews say it didn't fit slim edition. Not sure how many more ways there are to tell a consumer DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE THE PS5 SLIM. That out of the way, I went ahead and got the full shebang with fans and charging. Tl;dr is skip the charger, fans are probably a good addition, though (more on that later), and the base is more 'robust' than some others I've tried. NOTE: there have been numerous articles/posts/threads about the airflow design of the PS5. There have been minor changes since the initial version, but the short of it is the big fan in the PS5 pulls air in from both sides and the top, and exhausts out the back. Rear fans pulling air through and pushing out the back is the correct design to complement the PS5 airflow design. People like to argue that "heat rises" but neglect to address the fact that forced air will always overcome convection, and the design doesn't consider convection to begin with. [Image] The parts all came individually wrapped in protective foam/bags. The screws (in a plastic case) and the documentation were loose. I'll make a note here about the orientation of the charging unit's cord, which is the opposite direction it runs when plugged in. This could *potentially* break wires within the insulation and make it DOA. Three of the four rubber feet on the stands were either installed incorrectly, or moved around during storage and shipping. [Image] The bag one of them was packed in stuck to the adhesive. I was able to remove the bag without tearing it, and peeled the feet off and reapplied them where they belong. When installing the charging bracket, there are a couple of issues: 1) The mounting screw has an unthreaded portion (similar to the factory PS5 mount screw, but far shorter), which is designed to fit inside the hole in the bracket. If you don't pay attention, it's possible to tighten the screw against the bracket *without* that part going through the bracket. This will likely result in it coming loose at a future point, and you'll have to fix it, so make sure it's in right (WRONG is shown in the images); 2) The design does not include *any* features to make or keep the charging base level or aligned, aside from foam rubber pads between the metal mounting bracket and the bottom of the PS5. Maybe you'll get a kick out of this, but I don't particularly regard wedging something (especially something that *will* deteriorate) in place as good design. [Image] I ended up using the text on the bottom of the PS5 as a 'guide' to help align the charging base. The first time this thing moves without me wanting it to, it's garbage (if I don't print an adapter to stabilize it). That said, it allows standard controllers as well as the Edge controller to charge. I prefer my other charger, which allows me to 'drop' the handles into it and it auto-aligns, but that charger will not accommodate the Edge, so the charger in this kit is essentially the same as the Sony charger (or any of a thousand knock-offs). Does it charge? Yes, 2 controllers at a time. Mine is inside a TV stand cubby, so it's not really that functional and accessing the rear controller is clunky in that sort of space. The main reason I got this was for the horizontal stands. The fan and charging base was "what the hell, let's see." The horizontal stands are made of ABS plastic, thick enough to allay any concerns about it failing - in layman's terms, it's tough and probably as strong as the PS5 side panels, and will have no problem supporting your console. The feet are rubberized/non-slip, and there are thin rubber pads between the console and the bracket that should prevent the bracket from slipping out of place. I do have another set of brackets from a different manufacturer and, while they work, they're quite flimsy compared to these. That said, if your console isn't doing aerobics, you're not using it as a step-ladder, and isn't exposed to excessive vibration, the less-costly and more-cheaply designed stand *will* do the job. What else... fans. Installation was straightforward. The manual has a picture showing how to do it, with words explaining it. I added 2 images showing the top and bottom of the fan unit with it installed. The USB pass-through works for USB power, though I didn't test data transfer speeds, so that may be a problem for some people, or it may be no problem at all. The fan module has a 'memory' and returns to the last speed it was set to when powered off and back on. The fans are pretty much silent on low, on medium I was able to hear them with my head right next to the console, and high is audible, but not obnoxious. I am cautiously optimistic regarding the fans - I had a vertical stand from another manufacturer previously that was quiet until the bearings went out after a few months of use, at which point it sounded like a cat stuck in the washing machine, so hopefully these don't go that way... And lastly, the Amazon robot wants to know about its versatility. I suppose you could use the charging base as a doorstop and the fans as a protein shake blender, but I wouldn't recommend either. The one thing all these stands have in common is there's ONE orientation for the console. I haven't done a thorough search of available information, but what I *have* read is the PS5 should either be vertical or on its right side (rotated 90 degrees clockwise from vertical), so I suppose lack of being able to mount these so it lies the other way isn't really a negative. Aside from these, versatility isn't really a factor. There's one way to use it. So would I buy it again? No. The stand, possibly. The charging base, big NO, and the fans... can't hurt to have extra cooling, so they'd be a 'maybe' as well, depending how they hold up. In all, I don't feel the design quality meets the price point. Get the stands and fans, skip the charger and buy a better one. 1/2 star off for feet being installed or received wrong, 1 star off for the lack of stability of the charging base and installation concerns. Rounded half star up.

I can't say enough about this stand. The original stand that came with my PS5 kept sliding off. As soon as you bump it it just slides right off the base of the stand. This stand is perfect. No sliding and it fits snug so it stays on. The stand that fits on the disc side has a piece that needs slid out for it to fit properly. I went and rewatched the product video and it tells you how to put it on correctly. No more sliding off the base. Great stand

I recently added the NexiGo Cooling Fan and Charging Dock to my PS5 setup, and it’s been fantastic! The cooling system really does its job well, keeping my console from heating up, which I believe will extend its life. It’s easy to install, feels sturdy, and fits my PS5 perfectly.
