I’m getting old. My hands don’t work as well as they used to, and comfort is a major concern with controllers for me now. I can’t keep a Kung Fu grip on the controllers like I used to. So I need something that has some grip, so the controllers are easier to hang on to. I had a couple controller covers similar to this for my PS4 controllers and I loved them. Kinda forgot about them, as I haven’t touched a PS4 controller in years. Recently had an incident where a bumper broke on my Elite controller, so at the time I was exploring options for what controller I was going to use long term. Ended up fixing my Elite, but came across these grip covers in my search. So far it’s been great. I really like the added grip, it fit real nice, isn’t too thick, doesn’t bother me having it on there and doesn’t get in the way at all. The controller is a bit heavier, unfortunately. That’s pretty much the only negative. I have mild arthritis in my hands and these grips help a little bit. Mainly because I don’t need to hold the controller so tightly. I usually don’t worry about these on controllers that already have built in grips like the Elite. But for ordinary controllers, these covers can make them much more comfortable. ... show more

Given the low price of this grip, it's an excellent money-to-value ratio. The material is smooth but grippy, and it's just loose enough to make taking it off and back on easy. This is good because I've noticed the grip starts to get sticky if I use it after using hand sanitizer or lotion or something. So it's nice to be able to slip it off and wash the grip every one in a while. The thumb grips for the joysticks are really great. Super easy to take on/off, and they feel very comfortable. They do add a few millimeters to the height of the stick, but I have long thumbs so I barely notice it. My only gripe is that the thumb grips rub against the main grip a bit on the left joystick. Just the way the controller is contoured, the upper right of the left joystick range will rub the silicone together. Because otherwise this I generally don't use the thumb grips because I don't like the sensory feel of the silicone-on-silicone. However it's not very noticeable so for most people it's probably fine. ... show more

I'm not sure if I'm returning this yet or not. The colors are beautiful and it feels good on my hands. Doesn't feel slippery or sweaty. My issue is it does not have a tight fit at all. It slides around and is lose near the right side of the controller. I feel like this is a design flaw and that there should be a thin silcone piece attaching that side like there is on the left near the joystick. ... show more
