New and never been used or re-sharpened, this gorgeous knife is 3 5/8 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 2.0 ounces. This knife utilizes a 2 3/4" Locking Clip blade. The blade material is Carbon Steel. The handle is smooth Yellow Delrin with an Oval Nickel Silver CASE Inlay shield. The bolsters are highly polished Nickel Silver. I have two full size Copperlocks, a clip point and a warncliff. Both are outstanding knives but this mini copperlock is the ONE!!…… Perfect size with Case’ great carbon steel clip point blade. And the yellow synthetic handles are the “pleasant” surprise. One of my full size is a very bright orange. I wasn’t sure about the bright yellow handles on this mini. These are a pale yellow that looks very much like a yellowing ivory. NICE! ... show more

This knife arrived in perfect condition in a box sealed with clear foil. No human's hand has touched it since it left the factory. The knife sharp and very well made and very easy to open and close. I am well pleased with my purchase.

This knife feels nice and is a good size for a pocket. It's slim and polished and carries well. Missing 1 star due to slight scratches on the polished parts out of the box and factory edge was not impressive.

Overall decent knife. Love the classic Delrin yellow scales. Blade itself is not CV - it is CS. I think Case CV is no longer available or just really hard to find. Either way, CS is great. Fit and finish is typical Case, not perfect but acceptable given the manufacturing process. Seller is great. I received the product in a small box with hand-written postage - classic! ... show more

    • Carbon steel, my favorite
I know chrome vanadium steel requires some care, that true sharp stainless doesn’t. In my experience, it’s worth it, carbon steel takes a better edge and is easier to sharpen. Trusharp is prettier, but CV gets a nice patina if you do a little research (I remove all oil and use hot coffee to “force” the initial patina.. regular use of food safe oil keeps rust at bay) ... show more
