These have to roll over a smooth surface or they don't work well. I rolled on pavers and it had problems with every crack. The spring/shock does not freely move up and down like you would expect it to in absorbing irregularities in the surface. If this was working on a concrete driveway, it would be perfect. Absent that, it will be a bumpy ride.

The media could not be loaded. The wheels where very wobbly so I had to use other ones that I had on hand. The rest of the casters was heavy duty and of good quality but I can't understand why they would use such wobbling wheels. The company was good enough to give me a 10% discount which helped to make up for it.

This is solid and well made. I am not an engineer, so I can't explain the physics, but will describe my issue. I am using this on a fence gate to help support the weight. As I open and close the gate, this rotates 180 degrees to trail the movement of the gate. That rotation is not smooth. As the wheel rotates parallel to the gate, there is quite a lot of inertia to complete the rotation, far more than my automatic gate opener/closer can muster. I think the designer/manufacturer tried to save money on the ball-bearing swivel. I would not buy this again.
