They're solid, they don't fold back down flat, which is okay! You can take them on and off, reposition them as much as you want, which is great! I got this because I wanted some sort of grip for my kindle Paperwhite, but I like to switch which hand I hold it on and wanted an option that was easy to move wherever I wanted it. My hand is too small to reach the middle of the kindle comfortably. This is a great solution for that! It sticks to a clear case or the back of the Paperwhite very securely. The only downside is that because it doesn’t collapse, it sticks out a lot on the back. I love this phone grip. I have an iPhone 12 mini with a clear mag-safe Otterbox case. I did not want another permanent grip. I did not want a permanent grip that I then had to buy a special mag safe charger for. This grip is great. It goes on and off easily. The adhesion is great. I’ve had no problems with it. I like this grip much better than the PopSocket I had before. It’s smaller but still completely functional. Because it’s removable, my phone fits anywhere without catching on anything. Rifle Paper Co. has beautiful designs. All of their products are lovely. Cons are price and the lack of a car mount. I was willing to pay $20 for one. It’s not worth $20 just by looking at it, but it gives me more than $20 worth of functionality. I need the grip most in one room, so I leave it there. I would lose it if I tried to take it with me. I’d love to buy two more for other areas, but not for $20 each. I’ve looked at Rifle Paper Co.’s website. They don’t appear to make any car mount like you can get for PopSocket, but that makes sense. You don’t want to chance your phone coming loose when you’re driving. I would definitely recommend this grip if you want something small, removable, functional and attractive if the price isn’t a dealbreaker for you. ... show more
