Great, sturdy quality for a great price!
The case was a lot more sturdy and durable than I expected considering the price. The zipper seems like it'll last for awhile and the padding is perfect for me since I'll just be using it for carrying my laptop in my book bag. I love how it is thick enough to prevent any scratches on my computer and protects against minor bumps. I was also worried about it being too roomy for my ultrabook but it fits PERFECTLY! A little extra space but not too much (not enough to squeeze in a charger but enough to slip in a folder or some sheets of paper). I love it so far and it serves its purpose! My only complaint was that it only came in black for the 14-inch laptop sleeve. I would have preferred one of the other colors. But this is only a minor issue that isn't really important or a deal-breaker. It's definitely worth more than what I paid for! ... show more

Great quality, great price, so-so fit
This laptop sleeve is really wonderful. I started out purchasing cheap laptop sleeves, but they would always fall apart. I decided to go with a brand that I know and Case Logic is really great at what they do. I have a 14" HP Pavilion dv4 and it fits great in the sleeve. The padding is really thick which is great. I've dropped it several times and there is never any damage to the sleeve or my laptop. The zipper also holds strong and there isn't a sense that your laptop is just going to fall out, as there is with some other sleeves that don't have a zipper. Also, the sleeve seems to be made out of some sort of liquid-repellent material. There was one case in which I spilled coffee in my bag and it just ran right off the sleeve. I checked the laptop inside and it was completely dry. Also, when you compare the cost of this sleeve to others it's quite a bit cheaper, yet you still get a great, quality sleeve. It even looks great. I haven't found any flaws with this sleeve and it works great, having saved my laptop from near certain death several times. I give it five stars and would highly recommend it. EDIT: I recently got a 13 inch Macbook Pro with Retina display (Late 2013), so I purchased the 13 inch version of this sleeve (previously had the 14 inch). Unfortunately, the Macbook doesn't fit in the sleeve very snugly as I would have liked, even though the sleeve is supposedly specifically designed for the Macbook. There is about an inch of space left on both sides. Other than that the sleeve is pretty great and plenty thick, and all of the elements from my previous review apply. ... show more

Perfect Fit
I bought this for my ASUS 14.1 inch Laptop or Ultra-book with a touch screen. The Asus fit right in and it provides lots of protection from scratching or bumping. It does exactly what it was meant to do be a soft case buffer for the laptop. I wold recommend this to anyone that has a 14 inch laptop that wants a plain black high quality sleeve. I think the price was right also I paid a third of what the price at Target or Walmart were. I am definitely satisfied. Soft durable neoprene, heavy Cordura nylon type material on the sides double stitched and well put together. The zipper is smooth and pulls nice with out any problems and the zipper pull as rubberized grip for good traction when pulling the zipper. ... show more

Fits Perfectly for Lenovo y400
my first impression was that the case was too small for a 14inch laptop but i decided to give it a chance. What it seems like is that the case is designed to have a tight fit on the laptop and its actually nice because it fits tightly around the laptop and is very convenient to carry or put in another bag. The case itself is made of a soft foam type of material which i feel offers a decent amount of protection to the laptop. At first i was concerned that the zipper would scratch the corners of my laptop due to the tight fit, but there's a bit of a soft guard that comes over the zipper that keeps this from happening which is perfect, i've been using it for about 2 months and my laptop is still looking brand new. ... show more

Great item!
I use this case for my Macbook Pro 2014 13" Retina Display. I have a hard shell case on my Macbook Pro and I can fit both my laptop plus my charger inside this laptop sleeve. I think it does a really good job protecting my Macbook Pro. I really like it. It is definitely not a tight fit; there is some extra room at the top, but I like that there is more room ; I didn't want a case that was too tight of a fit because I wanted to be able to fit my charger in there (which I can). However, if you're looking for a snug fit for a 13" Macbook Pro Retina Display, this probably isn't the right sleeve for you. ... show more

Good product, but doesn't fit HP dm4 3050us perfectly.
This sleeve is very light, yet the padding seems adequately thick and protective. I'm sure it won't protect the laptop from a 5 foot drop, but I think it would protect it from a fall off a coffee table or something not much higher than 2 feet off the ground. I feel like my laptop is safe, since I'm used to just having my old laptop inside a backpack without a sleeve, going through some short yet harsh drops onto the ground. The inside is made of neoprene as well; I'm not sure how well it will protect the laptop from scratches. The sleeve has the lip below the zipper that keep it from scratching the laptop. I suggest pulling each side of the zipper back when putting in and taking out the laptop to make sure the zipper doesn't scratch it. It's easy to forget to do this, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I just bought an HP pavilion dm4-3050us (14" laptop) and it fits perfectly in this case width-wise,, but from top to bottom there is at least an inch and a quarter of space. This is to be expected since the laptop is rather wide and not very tall. I was not surprised by this, just disappointed since I had hoped it would fit a bit more snugly. I think most HP laptops are built this way, perhaps to give the widescreen effect; so HP owners, don't be surprised by this either. All in all I think it's a pretty good laptop sleeve, especially for the price you can get it for from Amazon. ... show more

I'm using this case for a 2012 Lenovo Y470 14" 1368x768 laptop. It fits snugly without much play, I wouldn't want to leave any USB devices, even incredibly small ones, attached while the laptop is in this case. It protects from dust and scratches. This still fits in the laptop pouch of my backpacks, but this case obviously increases the size somewhat. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. The case is high quality, the zipper functions without any issues, and while I tend not to abuse my stuff, this will help keep my laptop unabused for a while yet. ... show more

Fulfill its function.
My Lenovo Edge 14" fits snugly in the sleeve. The sleeve feels pretty thick and I'm assuming it will do a good job in protecting my computer from dust, scratches, bumps, etc. I don't like how poofy the sleeve is and how rubbery it smells, but that is negligible. The part I really don't like is how there's only one zipper and that the zipper doesn't go back very far. I would prefer to have two zippers and have the zipper go farther back to make it more convenient to put in and take out the laptop. Overall, the laptop sleeves seems to be a good protection for my laptop and I'm reasonably satisfied with it. ... show more
