The dresser comes packed in a fairly small package, relative to the finished units size and assembly is not particularly difficult. Instructions recommend two people for the assembly, but I did it myself in just under an hour, while watching a tv show. *Be careful and double check that you have all the metal bracing pieces and the woodwork facing the proper direction, but other than that, it's hard to get it wrong and directions for assembly are very clear. (All needed tools are included) Love that this has a built in power station on the top with two USB ports. This is a great feature that gives you a docking station "home base" and keeps wire management to a minimum. One thing that may not be clear from the photos is the drawers are literally cloth, and have very little heft or structural integrity to them. While they work fine and look good, I am confident that in the long run, they will fray, bend, warp, etc... I also have a cat and if she decides to, this entire dresser could be ribbons in an afternoon if she sinks her claws into the cloth covered cardboard fabric of the dresser drawers. In short, this is a nice, inexpensive option maybe for a teenagers room, some college dorm housing, first apartment level of furniture, but it's not something that I would expect to last more than a couple years. This is the kind of furniture that gets loaded into the dumpster when you move... and not the moving truck. But it will work great for a while. ... show more
