Honest Raw Honey is simply delicious because it contains only pure, raw honey from our own American hives. We ensure our honey is free of chemicals, antibiotics, and everything else you don't want in your food. Completely uncooked and unfiltered, it contains all natural goodness such as enzymes, amino acids, and pollen to make it a true health honey. Unlike many best- selling raw honey products, we can ensure the integrity of our raw honey because we own our hives, and do not import. Our honey is produced exclusively in the United States. The texture is creamy, but naturally fluctuates based on temperature. Cooler temperatures will help the honey solidify, while warmer ones will cause it to liquefy a bit more. Creamy, truly raw honey often will have bits of wax, propolis, and honey foam visible at the top and throughout the jar. A bit of separation is completely natural, so simply stir and enjoy! First I have to say I'm a honey collector. I have Honey from all over the world and am constantly looking for Honey to add to my collection. I do use it though so it doesn't sit on a shelf collecting dust. When I saw this Honey on Amazon I immediately ordered a 22 ounce jar. It arrived quickly VIA UPS and was intact in a box wrapped in heavy bubble wrap. Now that is the way to protect a jar of Honey! Kudo's to Desert Creek, the small business here on Amazon that I purchased it from which also shipped it! The Honey is thick and has a cream like consistency at 67F. This is the temperature I store my Honey. As it warms it becomes more pliable and flows easier but is still thick which is what I prefer. The taste is so amazing I don't know how to explain it well. It's flowery and sweet but not too sweet and smells so good. Nothing negative about this Honey! If you are looking for a high quality raw honey that won't break the Bank then I highly suggest you try this! The Honey does come in a plastic container which some may not like but it is sturdy and thick to protect it. I do not know if it's BPA free but I think it is. I think most foods these days are in BPA free or non toxic plastic containers. From their website I want to quote this: "HONEST RAW HONEY DOES NOT CONTAIN: Antibiotics, chemicals, additives, herbicides, pesticides, imported honey, and everything else that shouldn't be in your food." It's raw, not adjusted in any way from hive to jar. Check it out. Can't link it but the website is the same name as the Honey so it's easy to find. Overall atm this is my number One Honey and I have over 70 different Honey's in my home. Try a tablespoon of it right out of the jar when you get it. I eat it right out of the jar and use it in my Tea and Coffee. Right now it's not shipped by Amazon so it should get to you intact. Bottom line: Try it! This is my 2nd time purchasing this honey and I love the consistency and flavor. We use it in toast, in smoothies, tea etc. Only thing I wish is that it came in a glass jar instead of plastic.

It's fine. It's super mild. Like really mising flavor IMO. The Spreadability thing - it's runny liquid, runnier than even your standard squeeze bottle. I'm used to unfiltered/raw being more viscous. Wasn't expecting that, but tbh out of a jar this amound of runniness it's not spreadable because it doesn't stop spreading - anything I put it on it just runs off the sides. If it weren't for the other stellar reviews I'd think this honey was diluted or something. I'm really not a fan. But it's not like cheap-tasting or anything. Just like water was added, or something was removed (it doesn't make sense for either to actually be the case, it's just the best way I can describe it)... Fine, if messy, for tea. Terrible for a PB&H sandwich. ... show more

    • A Competitor for Favorite Raw Honey
Let me start by qualifying my five star review--it's more 4.5 than 5 based on TASTE only, and that's only because I've already found my perfect honey. I'm just obsessed with raw honey, so I like to try all of them. My favorite for over a year (and many different brands) is still YS Organic's raw honey, but Honest's Raw Honey is the only other clear competitor as far as I'm concerned. About my taste in honey: I like the raw stuff--the stuff that requires a spoon. It's simply leagues tastier than that processed, treated stuff in the bears in the store. Raw honey not only has such a richer, "honey-er" taste, but it's so much better for you. You get so many good things (nutrients and healthy calories) from natural state honey that you simply can't when it's processed. I like sweet honey (not as obvious as it sounds), nothing overly floral, because I use it daily in tea, and I don't want it distracting from the teas flavors. I want the sweet without anything else and I refuse to use processed sugars for that in tea. I also like companies that help bees and don't unfairly treat them because they are critical to our environment and have enough challenging existing in this world as it is. I trust the Honest Raw Honey company for this. This honey feels very rich and decadent, so you don't need much to get the job done, but it definitely has a different flavor profile from my other favorite brand. It's not quite floral but maybe a hint of it. The honey also has a buttery texture to it--ultra smooth and looks a lot like margarine. Very easy to spread on some bread for a real treat with easy energy. I will thoroughly enjoy this jar and would recommend to anyone to try along with my other favorite. Happy eating! ... show more

This honey tastes good and has everything I wanted in raw honey. One thing is I was used to Y.S. Eco Bee farms raw honey and its way thicker and a few dollars more. No proble though cause this honey is just as good but thinner. I would buy it again!

I am a real person I live on the East Coast and I can get honey from many Farms all over. I have never in my life ever seen or tasted honey like this ever. I have never seen it so smooth and creamy like cold water falling from a waterfall I swear I just don’t even know how to describe, how amazing this tastes .
