Fabric is still relatively soft but has gotten some pilling over time. However, that has not prevented daily use. Has not shrunk from being washed either. Pattern is very nice and not over-priced. i got this for my son, to put over him when he is in his wheel chair. I wanted something that was thick to keep him warm. this is not thick it is thin. and the material sheds. Its soft and bright colored pattern. I believe my son likes it. so we will keep it and see how long it last.
