I love that this rug is thick and colorful. The fabric is not hard so you can definitely wash it with the machine if possible. It also lays completely flat and honestly can function in any type of room. The size is absolutely perfect and the rug is not too slippery.

We bought this as a rug to cover old hardwood floors in our foyer. It is the perfect weight and size. We were surprised by how small the packaging was for such a large rug (8 x 10'). The color and softness is very high quality for a washable rug. While we haven't put it in the washer yet, we've found it super easy to spot clean because liquids float on top for a long time before soaking into the rug. We don't need to rub or anything. Paper towel soaks it right up just like on hard floors. Awesome price and quality! It did take a bit of time to get the wrinkles out but vacuuming helped tremendously. ... show more

The rug is soft under your feet, stayes decently in place, only needing an occasional adjustment. It's not a thick rug, very thin actually, so I would imagine a door would easily open and close over it. My vacuum tends to want to get stuck on it so I do have difficulty vacuuming it, but it washes very well. It came close to true to size for me, 4 x 6. The rug comes folded up, so as other reviewers have stated, you will see the creases immediately upon laying on floor.
