I got the deep burgandy rug. It was true to the color online. Perfect for what I got it for. Which was to add burgandy to my living room, and to keep my ottoman from sliding. It sheds a little, but for the price, and what Im using it for its no inconvenience at all. I should note I had no intention on making this rug serve for warmth or everyday "walk on" use. Absolutely love this rug. Bought two years ago and still just as soft as the day I got it. Looks great in front of my electric fireplace (perfect for cozy naps) and is doggo approved (he loves it so much he tries to hide his biscuits under it, and refuses to sleep anywhere else!). Iā€™ve washed it several times. The key to keeping it pristine is wash with a no dye, no scent detergent, then AFTER done washing, use a spray bottle to mist it with fabric softener. Let it air dry, shake it out a bit, and voila! To make sure the fur isnā€™t getting matted, every once in a while I brush it out lightly with a boar-bristle (or imitation bristle) brush which also helps keep it soft. DO NOT PUT THROUGH THE DRYER. I made that mistake once long ago with faux fur and it will destroy the fur texture if not outright ruin the rug. Over all, 10/10 recommend and will be purchasing another soon for the living room fireplace ... show more

I purchased for a design project. I was worried it might look obviously cheap, but it doesnā€™t. It has a bit of shine that makes you wonder if itā€™s faux or ā€œfur realā€ which is just perfect! Itā€™s a little off white, which lends to the realistic appearance. Itā€™s very soft, and the backing is a really great copy of hide, with just the right weight. The carpet has no real base. More like a blanket.. granted this will make it easier to clean, it does not add any padding or thickness as a result in the current condition. Very thin all on its own.
