Both me and my cats love this rug. I was worried about it being too thin, the "fur" being skimpy, seeing the backing through the fur etc. But none of that is the case. Absolutely no shedding (which was an issue a previous purchase of mine had). Helps to soften my footsteps for my downstairs neighbors as opposed to just walking on my hardwood. And helps my cats' paws stay warm in this winter weather. I've taken to sitting and lying on it lots - I've done yoga on it happily. I don't currently have a vacuum but for cleaning I've shaken it out and "beat" it like the old days and that works. It will slip around on your floors without grippy rug things, but if anyone expects a smooth rug on smooth floors to not slip around... well, it's common sense. There are so many dual fur rugs to chose from on amazon and I'm really glad I picked this one since it's really good quality.

Love it. The backing is a soft leather. So it likes to slide easy on hardwood floors. If u have furniture to anchor it down then it’s worth it. I feel Rich with this pretty rug haha

I really like this rug, it is really soft and the design is pretty. However they sent it folded up and when I unfolded it, the rug was covered in creases and on the faux fur side the creases twisted and distorted the faux fur and the pattern it makes. I took a brush to the faux fur and it helped a bit. It would probably be a good idea not to fold up a rug.
