The CARTMAN 8x10 Heavy Duty Poly Tarp works perfectly for covering my wood piles. I bought a few, and so far they’re holding up well and keeping everything protected. Very sturdy and well-made. Time will tell how long they last, but I’m impressed so far!

This is a nice, moderately heavy duty tarp. At 12 mils thickness, it should hold up fairly well to outdoor conditions. It appears well-made, and has nicely spaced grommets set in the reinforced edges. Only time will tell how well it performs, but I feel that this was a good purchase at this price.

It is definitely heavy duty. I use it to cover my wood pile and it’s more than adequate for that purpose. The tarp this is replacing was an 18 mil and it lasted for about five years and is still useable, although faded and a little thin in places. I suspect the 20 mil will last quite a bit longer.

First let me say that I like the overall construction, thickeness, construction, placement of grommets. For these attributes, I recommend. However, i am disappointed to find that the 6' x 8' product that ordered is actually 6' x 7'6". What I really wanted was 6' x'9', and 6 x 8' was the minimum. So finding that the product that I received is 6" shorter than expected is pretty disappointing. I will keep the product because it is well-made and I can always use a good tarp.

Better than expected but to be honest, my bar was pretty low. I’m used to dealing with Harbor Freight tarps for covering the back of my Suburban. This tarp was fantastic. Thick. Heavy. The idea is it will spend the season covering the roof of my 25’ travel trailer. I’m hoping it will protect from any water/rain damage. It doesn’t really freeze where I have it this year, so that’s ok. The holes are good size but these grommets seemed like who ever was installing them was not attentive. Most of the grommets were just a little un matched making a sharp edge that I am hoping won’t cut the twine I tied the tarp down with. Installing it was a bear by myself. It’s 12 x 30. I needed it to cover a 25 foot trailer. So I set a ladder up and walked on the roof. It definitely would be easier with two or three adults. So for now, I will give it a five star rating and we’ll see if I need to reevaluate my rating after the season is over.

These tarps are excellent, heavy duty. Just used them to cover the damaged spots in my roof form Hurricane Melissa, when properly installed they do not flap or tear and have made the house watertight until we can get the roof repaired. I used 3 of the 20 x 30 foot and one of the 40 x 50 foot HD tarps. We will keep them for future if needed.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered it march 22 2025. July 2025 is when i rigged it up so it covers my schoolie as we prepare for a more permanent structure to park it under. We live in Hawaii so it is tropical weather. Some rain some sun but nothing crazy. No storms just normal weather. After 2 months I had water leaking through the tarp because it does not have a even coating of whatever coating they put on it. Some areas are heavy and some thin. You can see the stripes in the video. Two days ago it tore open. I patched it up with some water proof tape. Then today the big rip happened. It tore from the front of the tarp well over the mid point and it's a 40 foot tarp. Now my bus is exposed and getting soaked. It's only been 3 months and it's trash. This is not normal for tarps and especially for one that is a thick mil and costs over a hundred bucks. I have cheap ones from Walmart that last longer than this one. Very disappointed with this purchase. I do have to buy another but will look for another brand and vendor
